Great place to stay when you’re in the area. We were arriving late with the ferry so we called at night and booked a site. The host stayed up till we got there and showed us where everything is which was awesome. Sites were really nice, they seem very private. The washrooms were good too, very clean and there is a shower you can use for a loonie. Also, there is a sani dump for those who need it. Overall, we had a good stay here and will stay again if in the area

A quiet oasis in Nanaimo. Campers are treated to the delights of the surrounding garden areas. We stayed in mid-July when the many Hydrangeas were in bloom. Bathrooms are VERY clean; hot showers for $1. The owner is so helpful and friendly. Perfectly located for a stopover before or after the ferry. The owners are friendly and helpful. Could not ask for a nicer place to camp!

Breathtakingly beautiful campground! Great facilities, very affordable, and the gentleman running the place was super friendly and accommodating! I would camp on the island just so I could stay here again.

Hands down the best campground in Nanaimo! Why? Well for starters the owner John! What a kind , delightful man! And dont just take my word for it , I have proof. We are from Alberta and on our way home we stayed in Jasper. We got talking to our camping neighbours and had discovered that we had both stayed at jingle pot campground at the same time! And what was the first thing that came out of our mouths? How amazing John was. They were from holland and there was no room for them to stay but John said no problem and made room For them. He runs his business on trust too , he didnt ask for a deposit from us, which I was shocked at first but not after meeting John…you would have to have some dark heart to screw this kind man over. The campground now, well you just have to go see the beauty that is inside for yourself. Our Grandson LOVED the beautiful gardens! We will be back!! And thank you John!!! Good...

I enquired about a last minute pitch the night before arrival and was told a space was available and someone would be there to meet me when I arrived. On arrival, we were met by the owner/manager who was extremely polite and helpful. He explained about the site, the WiFi and then lead us down to our site, while we followed in the RV to ensure we found it okay. He even stayed to make sure we knew where the facilities were, the codes for this and even make sure the WiFi was working okay, which it was and was also very fast. Myself and my partner have travelled around British Columbia for a while now and we must say that these facilities are the cleanest we've seen. The washrooms smell clean and everything looks immaculate. We would definitely recommend to anybody that may be staying...

I have so many amazing things to say about this campground. First, the owner is an absolute sweetheart, you can tell he puts his heart and soul into this place. With that being said, the campground is the most beautiful and well kept campground I’ve ever seen, bathrooms were spotless. I was travelling with my partner and we were tenting and arrived relatively late, the owner didn’t know we were only tenting but did his absolute best to accommodate us and ensure we felt safe and comfortable. He moved us to a different lot because he saw we only had sleeping bags and no blow up mattresses so wanted to put us on some ground that was softer and wasn’t gravel. The owner even came around the next morning to see if we were okay and managed well through the night, would...
