Great place close to Moncton.
This 180'ish year old church is now rentable as a gathering place, for weddings, receptions, family get together, etc. It sleeps 8 between 3 rooms (one room has 3 queen beds).
You walk in the foyer and you feel like you're in a church, but when you open the door to the main floor area you're greeted by a large open area with a tar table and unique stools as well as a stage with real working instruments. There's also a beautiful Brunswick pool table that plays incredibly! They have a booth made from old church benches with a stack of board games. 1 bedroom on main floor. Go up a cool spiral staircase and you've got a living room type area with a big screen TV and a Sonos Playbar and Sonos subwoofer. (I'm a fan of Sonos, so nice touch!). There's a bedroom on the upstairs level.
In the basement there's a modern kitchen and a large table for people to eat with long benches on the sides. There's a bedroom in the basement. This bedroom has the 2 queen beds in one room.
The decor in this old church is nice and old and looks like they reused original wood when possible. We spent 1 and we were 8 people. Our "party" started in the basement likely due to the proximity to the fridge. Later, the group moved to the main floor where the pool table was a big hit while others tried their hand at the instruments on stage, then back to the basement and then a mix between both. We didn't use 2nd floor living room area at all.
Great spot, loved the layout and the fact they've repurposed an old church.

A fantastic coffee machine allows you to make latte and Capp! We couldnât help to reschedule one more night and gladly the owner said YES! Remember to set the security alarm ON when you leave! Unbelievably lovely to stay there where you only imagine the history of the building and the impact on generations of families that worshipped there. We would highly recommend a stay at the cottage, wander through the old cemetery, count the generations of families there and enjoy to beautiful...
