River's Edge Camping — Hotel in Nipissing Township

We went camping here last week. Our main goal for the trip was fishing. I was very impressed with the rates for the boat rental. The fishing boat we rented was great. We had a wonderful time. The owners are friendly. There’s a lovely garden with humming birds and friendly animals who take peanuts from your hand. I saw a shooting star. It was all kind of magical. Even the night it rained. I chose the camping spot that was kind of back in the woods and we were able to have a nice fire because of the cover from the trees. I almost caught a bass but it’s been so long since I’ve been fishing that I forgot what to do and reeled it in too soon and it spit out the line. I’ve caught the fishing bug now and I want to get back out there asap! Worth the drive, (we came from the GTA) for the scenery alone. We checked out the Nipissing museum on our way home. That was cool too, just a couple minutes from the campground. It’s remote but there’s a couple general stores nearby as well. The wood we bought on our first day from the camp was enough for three days although we didn’t do huge bon fires. But it was very reasonable and affordable and we will be going back as soon as I can make it happen. Thanks for the great time Rivers Edge! Hopefully we’ll see you...

A messages to River’s Edge Camping, thank you for welcoming us, it’s was a beautiful place, peaceful place, a place where you can relax, gather thoughts and it’s perfect, the River was beautiful and best place to Kayak, boat, or even SUP, at during the night the sky and stars very close to you and beautiful to watch, the Owner is Very Friendly, Polite, and very respectful both couple they will assist you, despite a ban, but there is always a solutions they are amazing, me and the woman really enjoy the stay, me and the woman will definitely return, I strongly recommend this place to anyone, visit and you will found out the benefits of it,...

I set up a park model home here and I couldn't be happier, the owners have transformed this property in to a perfect summer get away resort, it is incredible what they have done here and will not have spots left at this rate, my guess is that there will be a waiting list to get a spot here, fishing swimming or just relaxing on the deck , I would highly recommend this camp to all ages, A HUGE thank You to Craig and Tammy for all the hard work to make this my summer home...
