We visited Tiny Village Bon Echo with our two young boys (ages 2 and 5), and while our trip started off a little rocky—we accidentally took a wrong turn with our 25-foot trailer into the backcountry camping spots and had to back it all the way out (10/10 do not recommend) 😱 and found out the pool was temporarily closed for the duration of our visit—we quickly discovered that this place has so much more to offer.

After settling in and getting to know our surroundings on the first night, we spent the next day hiking to the waterfalls, playing at the incredible Sand Lake Beach, canoeing across the lake, and swimming at the base of the falls. We ended the evening with a barbecue, campfire, and, of course, s’mores under the stars.

On our final morning, we made a big breakfast and set off for one more hike, following the waterfalls downstream and reconnecting with the trails. We had an unforgettable trip and made so many memories as a family. We’re already looking forward to coming back to this beautiful and...

I went camping at Tiny Village Bon Echo in Ardoch, Ontario. I had such an amazing weekend there. The campground is beautiful. It's a beautiful spot to fish, go kayaking or canoeing. The water was perfect for swimming. The campers there are very friendly and treat you like you are family. Mike is the manager there and he is very kind and accommodating. Goes above and beyond for you to make sure that your camping experience is the best that you can have. Once you arrive he helps you with everything you need to know and shows you around. The campground is very clean. The bathrooms and the showers are one of the cleanest I have ever seen on a campground. I definitely recommend anybody to go camping there either tent camping or book yourself one of the many beautiful cabins that they have there as well. You will not be disappointed! I will...

My partner and I stayed at the glass cabin. There was great communication with Mike and he was very understanding of our needs. loved that kayaks were included in our booking and the location was lovely, with a nice view. enough privacy in our own space. it had rained heavily the night before we checked in so a rug in the cabin and the entrance mat were soaked and dirty, as well as the hammock. maybe in the future leave the hammock inside and put it out before the customer checks in. AC made very minimal difference, however we were there during a heatwave so we were expecting it to be hot, and we spent most of our time outside anyway. the issues I mentioned were not at all deal breakers and we still thoroughly enjoyed our time and Mike was very accommodating for us and...

For starters, the camp host is very accommodating and does an excellent job, also with providing information of the surrounding area. The pool and central washrooms are a bonus and beautiful, with a playground and BBQ area if you have kids. Trail down to the Mississippi River is fun. Don't miss out on the swimming dock and kayak rentals! Might catch a few fish ;) Tent sites are new: we liked the spacing and picnic table and fire pit... Sandy clay with grass starting to grow, so bring an extra tarp if it rained a lot :) We hit a dry spell for our weekend and it was absolutely great! Firewood burns great, solid hard wood so bring a good axe :) Five stars and we wouldn't hesitate to come back!

From the moment of arrival, we were greeted by the friendly owner, Michael. He ensured we had everything required for a great stay. We booked site #44 with our trailer and were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and private site. The site also had both electrical hook-up as well as water which is a plus in our opinion. The park is very quiet, well maintained, and kept extremely clean, including the bathroom and shower areas! They also have a nice salt water pool by the playground which is accessible to seasonal residents as well as visitors. We loved relaxing by the beach/dock area, which also provided an area for kayak rentals, fishing, etc. Highly recommend this gem of a place!!
