Bayside Cottages — Hotel in Ontario

I read the negative review posted a few days ago complaining about the condition and cleanliness of a customers cottage at Bayside. I was there and directly involved at the time so I'll post the truth. This woman complaining had a neat, clean cottage with a working A/C unit upon arrival. Upon their departure 2 days later I personally saw the condition of the cottage. These women lived like pigs!! With no regard for the condition the left the cottage. They left food all over the floor. Garbage piled in corners and piles of dirty dishes. I've been going to Bayside for 10 years and EVERY time I've been the cottages are clean and properly equipped, the property is neat and well kept and the views are spectacular. Anna has always gone above and beyond to ensure every guest is well taken care of. The women that posted the negative and completely nonsensical review were upset that they were called out on living like pigs and the condition they left the cottage in. I have not and never will ever hesitate to continue enjoying my stays at Bayside and actually brought my entire family there this summer for the first time. My girlfriend and our 4 kids absolutely loved it and the kids are already asking when can we return. My advice to the women posting the negative reviews, go stay in a hotel the rented hourly. Bayside cottages are lovely for its bucolic setting. Seated on the shore of the Bay of Quinte, the cottages are a great getaway for friends and family. Located between Belleville and Kington, Bayside Cottages is an easy distance to travel for people living in Toronto, Ottawa, or Montreal who are looking to get away for a weekend. The cottages are fully furnished and have a tv, full sized kitchen with a bbq on each porch. The owners were nice and were able to give us recommondtions for place to visit in town. Picton's main street is a 10 minute drive from the cottages. In town you can find a good mix of quaint shops that will satisfy your need to window shop or pick up any necessities. There are lots of place you can go to entertain yourself such as beach, drive-in and Sandunes. I would stay here...

This is a very nice place. The kids love to spend time exploring the property, catching the turtle in the creek, fishing by the water or swimming in the pool. From the morning till night time they are outside. We enjoy the peace and quite time Bayside Cottages has to offer. Enjoy coffee on the porch and watch the sun rise, have a snack under the tree in the afternoon or watch the fire at the end of the day.
