Tbh sandbanks was ok..the beach 5 stars..restaurant good and staff 5 stars..everything else 0 stars..the poison ivy alone was insane..it's legit everywhere..our whole campsite was covered our actual campsite where our children were supposed to play and live for the week...they couldn't actually enjoy any thing about camping because everywhere was covered..I had suit up just to plug our trailer in..the pole where we were supposed to put our permit was covered in poison ivy..when we told the office the offered to weed whack it..so then it would literally be everywhere l..no thanks..we have small dogs and young kids..plus no parks for the kids to play and the whole park is huge and unless you camp in the outlet beaches you're far away from everything definitely not walking distance from beach or anything really..but obviously the beach is amazing but that is literally it!! Blue water as far as you can see and the sandy beach stretches out for nice long walks (10/10). The showers and bathrooms are well maintained (9/10). The town of Picton is close by if you want to hit a restaurant or find replacements for anything you may have forgotten (9/10). One morning we woke to see 2 Trumpeter Swans swimming just off the shore by our site (attached picture). If you don't get a beach site, most other sites are a short walk, or you can drive to the large parking lot near the camp store and restaurant. Check it out, you'll be...
