This is our first time bringing our RV into Canada. We did not run into any issues crossing into Canada from the U.S.A. We are staying at this resort for the Grand Design RV Owners rally and it is beautiful here! Over 2500 acres, but it doesn't feel crowded at all. The sites and well maintained and the park models are very nice! They are adding on near the lake, so I'm excited to come back in 2024 to see the new additions. There are two pools plus the lake, so there is room for everyone, plus the fur babies! You can rent golf carts on site, which I highly recommend, especially if you do not have a bicycle / scooter with you and/or you have any mobility issues. There are some low hanging trees (below 13') coming into the campground and the road is pretty rough. Once you get here though, you forget about the rough roads. We plan on going exploring outside the campground tomorrow after the rally is over. My lab has been swimming in the lake every day and loves it! I will definitely be back and hope to get one of the lake front sites!

This place is more like a camping resort. Absolutely wonderful 4 day vacation! Very friendly staff. Bathrooms/showers cleaned at least twice a day, 2 pools, super clean. Places to eat, icecream, little store in reception area, security to get in and out, tennis court, basketball court, boating area, flat stone beach with decent waves. My campground had no electricity or water $70/night right on the edge of the forest, very serene/peaceful. Amenities were a 10min walk, drove to the on site beach. Golf carts available for rent. They even had a live band concert Saturday night. 15-20min drive to sandbank dunes beach ($20 parking) national park. * Closest anything is in Picton, about 30min away...groceries, gas, restaurant, everything.

This was our 2nd visit to this campground! We tried the 300 section, full hook up and drive thru sites. There were spacious sites, good size, some trees , gravel parking spot with grass. Huge campground! Highly recommend renting the golf cart to get around as the Pebble beach is approximately 2-3 km from the section we were in. Pebble beach has camp sites as well, a heated pool, some courts and outside activities! There is the marina, and the best little restaurant with great staff! One other highlight to this campground is the “ Hayloft Barn” up the road separate from the campground but it a unique place to check out! This camp also had wine tour options you can pre set up as you are in the wine area!!

There have been a lot of of great changes at Quintes over the last few years. New Washrooms with showers so we don't have to leave the lakeside, also added new pull thrus and a dumping station. No there are no services at the Lake, but take a look at what you get. Some people have mentioned Generators running all day and night, it isn't often when this happens and generally if asked they will turn them off, but definitely have to be off by 10p and the lakeside has park security driving through and controlling noise etc. during the day and night. The water over the last few years has been quite good, and if it is dirty well this will usually be due to a recent storm and direction of the winds, but normally clears up quickly, also seen at Sandbanks. It is nature people not the parks fault. We have been coming earlier and leaving later and enjoying 3 seasons. The beaches are great for hours of hiking, the water is not very deep so great for water sports and just floating for the day. Where are you going to find a camp site on or very close to the water with room to actually play games, throw a ball and be able to park as many friends together in one spot. The owners run a tight ship and extremely well managed park. Quintes is rated as a 5 star resort, they have earned this rating, and this is not just given out to any park.

Sylvia 04-March-2011 Very Satisfied Camper We have been coming to this campsite for over 6 years. We usually will stay 2-3 weeks at a time and then a few weekends. Last year we came the long weekend of May and then the Thanksgiving weekend as well. We always Camp lakeside with our Trailer and have a Generator, which we bought from Quintes. The swimming is great most days quite clear, there are times where the water can have some weeds after a good storm, but for the most part it is great. We usually buy a year pass for the Provincial Parks so that we can enjoy some Beach time as well. Yes they may have stricter than normal rules regarding booking, but this campsite is an Extremely well run Family Campground, and they have an excellent front end Manager Darlene, who is there most days and more than 10 hrs a day., as well as Jenny the Owner. That is dedication, not to mention they will remember you year after year including the kids. The Bathrooms are extremely clean, along with the Park in General. So much space and great walks to be had on the Water Side, and throughout the park If you are looking for a great place to go, check out this place it is...

We went to this park for over 15 years. Our kids loved it here in past years. Everything is usually very clean. They are often updating things here. My concern is that things are getting too crowded here because they have way too many trailers now. They have 3 sections of trailers, and now they have trailers all along the Waterfront and more being put in any space around the lake area with plans for even more trailers! It is true that sometimes the people at the front don't seem that friendly. They are very businesslike. They are happy when things go well. But if there are any issues where they have to do something because it's the right thing to do or even meet the residents half way they will ignore you. I saw their new true colours recently and have moved out of the park. A lot of others are doing the same but unfortunately they don't care who is in and who is out as long as they are making money. A disappointing way to leave the park but when we left no one even said goodbye or even cared. Their motto used to be that QIC was where people arrived as guests and left as friends. Not so anymore. Sad! One thing to note also - the Internet is brutal! For the price it should be...

This is one of the nicest places I've ever been and I have been to quite a few I have traveled fairly extensively from South America Mexico Jamaica and Quinte's Isle Campark is a lovely destination to head to. In the beautiful Prince Edward county, it's a five-star camp with extended season seasonal rentals, pull through lots and camping spaces, there are two beautiful pools and splash pads there's a pavilion for many activities a mini golf and a band stand where many local and inspiring bands have entertained. The park is family run and provides a community atmosphere such as that of neighborhoods in days of old, it's cheerful with people waving hello or you can find a quiet spot in the woods to relax and find some peace and quiet the breezes flow through the trees and the people are friendly, the birds are many, the gorgeous vistas of Lake Ontario are worth their weight in gold the beckoning and welcoming small towns surrounding the area are charming, interesting, historically rich and artistically inspired come to the county where...
