Dômes Charlevoix — Hotel in Petite-Rivière-Saint-François

I stayed at the Domes with my boyfriend for 3 days (Dec 21-23rd) we paid almost 500$ per night and the check in was at 4pm and check in was at 11am (????)

When we got to the domes we were super excited as online they look amazing -

When we got to the parking lot it was extremely icy and almost dangerous trying to get to the stairs without slipping.

Inside the domes were very cute and cozy but the mattresses were extremely hard and uncomfortable, we only had 2 towels for the whole stay, no access to water, and the wifi was very slow and not much lighting. The view would have been nice but there was so much condensation that froze we didn’t even get that.

For the amount of money that was spent we literally just had a hard mattress to sleep on in a tent with the most basic amenities. The kitchen is also so small so making food isn’t the most convenient and they have the audacity to leave a tip envelope? I don’t understand ..

Restaurants / shops are also out of the way.

I do not recommend this stay to anyone- if anything go to club med where it’s all included with your ski pass and food and alcohol for even less money. Super...

The area where the Domes are located is really nice on a hill side be warned though that the car park is small and we were there end of November lots of ice and snow I had the winter tyres on but still the ice made it hard for me to get traction to park.

Be warned that there are 200 steps to the Domes so don’t bring anything heavy as when there’s lot of snow and ice it will be hard for you.

Once in the Dome itself it’s very nice comfortable and compact 2 good size beds a nice fire which l did light and have burning but you have to be careful as you can’t have the fire on too long as heat rises and the people sleeping upstairs will be really hot for them.

The hot tub was enjoyable but they had to change the water so the first night we couldn’t use hot tub took all night to get to temperature which was disappointing the next day though was nice the view of St Lawrence and just being in nature...

Les Dômes ont fait du beau marketing, mais qui ne représente absolument pas la réalité. J'ai fait énormément d'hôtels et je n'ai jamais fait de plaintes, mais là c'est rire du monde. On loue 1 an d'avance à 1000-1500 / 2 nuits. Et pourquoi? Une déception

Le stationnement : Extrêmement petit pour 5 voitures (5 dômes), ça commence mal quand on doit passer 10 minutes à se replacer pour finalement avoir de la difficulté à sortir sans accrocher les autres voitures

Se rendre au chalet : Jamais, nul part, n'etait-il écrit qu'il faut monter une bonne colline avec tous nos bagages à pied! Le site mentionne un sentier amenagé et securisé... PARDON??? N'avez vous pas pensez aux personne à mobilité réduite qui ne sont pas au courant de devoir monter une côte de gravel pendant 5 minutes ? C'est innaceptable du manque de réflexion et de respect que la compagnie a à cet effet. C'est extrêmement mensongère. Une jambe cassée, une chaise roulante, une marchette, une béquille? Oubliez ça!

Le spa: Très petit, comment être 4 à l'intérieur? Matériel très "cheap", les jets ne fonctionnent à moitié pas. Et en plus, on voit tous les autres voyageurs dans leur spa "intime". Quand on s'attend à être perdu en nature comme le montre les photos, que c'est supposé être super intime, mais finalement que tout le monde nous voit et qu'on voit et entend tout le monde...

-Le foyer : il était cadenassé, impossible de l'utiliser. Lors de notre séjour en été, nous n'avons pas eu la chance d'avoir des températures chaudes, on aurait aimé pouvoir se partir un petit feu lorsqu'on soupait pour se réchauffer. Mais non. (Nous n'étions pas en période que les feus étaient interdits en raison de la sécheresse). Le site mentionne en foyer de disponible, mais ne mentionne pas qu'il est inaccessible l'été!

-La cuisine : Manque d'équipement, vaisselles sales ou brisées dans les tiroirs et les armoires.

-La vue du dome : on voyait Pierre-Jean Jacques et Monique dans leur spa ... Ce n'est pas ce que j'appelle une vue imprenable sur le paysage de Charlevoix. Vos photos sont extrêmement FAKE

-Contacter l'équipe pour du soutien : Impossible de rejoindre qui que ce soit lors du séjour.

Je déconseilles absolument les Dômes, c'est du rêve de marketing. Payer aussi cher pour si peu... C'est absolument ridicule et exagéré. Il n'y a rien de luxueux, aucune intimité. Vraiment décévant.

Vos compétiteurs offrent mieux pour moins cher, une belle arnaque. Soyez assuré qu'aucune personne de notre entourage ne...
