If you're wanting the full serenity nature experience, you might check this place out! We've come here for years and will continue. Lots to do. Trails and beaches forever. Close to stores if needed. Clean, we'll maintained sites, on-sight laundry, showers. Water front and more private sites. Group sites, big covered BBQ area. Water toy rentals. Pet friendly. Lots for kids to do. Volleyball. Kids playground. Bike jumps. Great camp hosts that are actually around if you need something. **Don't forget to ask@ ticket booth/check out the BC Ferries " Experience card" huge discounts for the little Islands and Sunshine Coast!! Many don't know about this. It's been around for years! Plan ahead! Shoulder/ off season rates. Visit it - but respect it. Drive slowly, Embrace Diversity, be kind to the environment & neighbor.

One of the nicest campsite we have ever been to. Zoe went above and beyond to accommodate us after a small hiccup - she was great! Although our site wasn’t right by the ocean, we actually preferred this since the inland sites feel more private (and the ocean is just a short walk away). Thank you for making our stay on Quadra Island so memorable.

We have been coming to We Wai Kai for 15 years. We absolutely love it. It feels like home every time we get off the ferry. Great staff, awesome camping, so peaceful and you never know what you’re going to see on Rebecca spit!!🫶🏼❤️🌴

Worst camping experience of my life. My family party and I booked a site for 2 nights, but only one of us could have it under our name. So my family member booked it, and we split the costs by etransfer after it was booked. But a few days before my family member had a home emergency and could not come with us. So they emailed the site and informed them we would only be staying 1 night. So after drving 2 hours to the site we arrived to checkin, I have the same last name as my family member who booked it, they said I couldn't checkin. Their (OUR) booking was being no showed and cancelled because I am not the same name as the booking (same last name). So they made me pay another 30 bucks for a NEW BOOKING when WE HAD ALREADY PAID! So we paid double for one night. It was disappointing they couldn't have some common sense that we booked this as a family party, and apparently the email we sent disappeared. What a joke.

Bathrooms were unclean and shower areas moldy. We had to pay to use the showers with "warm water" which was ice cold, and they wouldn't reimburse us for that either. The picnic table was wobbly and unstable and the site was filled with rocks and no view. We will never stay here again, and I recommend you...

Had other accommodations already booked before arriving on Quadra island summer 2018 or we would have stayed here, once we made a tour of the grounds.

Too many campgrounds today have a barren, industrial parking lot appearance to them, basically look like gravel or concrete slab parking lots for rv, but this one is different, lots of trees. Looks more like campgrounds used to when tents rather than rv were the norm. While obviously having electrical power at most of the sites and, according to website, full hookups at some.

Some lots are right on the tidal water's edge of the bay, Drew Harbour, formed by Rebecca Spit, other lots are higher up in a quiet forested area accessed from the other side of the main road.

This campground is at the entrance to Rebecca Spit park, a day-use only park with a level walking trail around the waterfront perimeter, near views to the west of Drew Harbour where boats sometimes moor, and distant views to the east of other Discovery Islands and the mainland mountains from a long,...
