Q Estate Cottages — Hotel in Rideau Lakes

Our second year at Q estates. The place is breath takingly beautiful. The property is well maintained and clean. Suzette and Lexter are always on site and ready to help and make sure you are having a good time. Our first year was with family only at the summer cottage. Our second year was with family and friends occupying both cottages on site. We noticed many upgrades since the 1st year as the hosts are always striving to make the place better and comfortable. The pool cottage was fully renovated and had all the amenities of a home. We had a really good time on both occasions and felt sad to leave. After 3 days at this cottage I can say it stands out compared to the other cottages I stayed in, in terms of location and nature. Also it was very clean and the owners who live on the same property are so nice and kind. We had an issue with our mattress and spring box and they changed the whole thing for us on the spot. It's a highly recommended cottage to book and we will be back in the future for sure. The only thing that we wished it was better was the water toys and the kayak/canoes. There was only 1 kayak and 1 canoe and for our group we always book cottages with more options ( multiple kayak, pool toys....etc). Spent the long weekend at Q estates and it was wonderful, Suzette and Lextor are both so warm and welcoming. We had everything we could possibly need, the cottage provided updated amenities such and a modern open concept interior, big screen tv, wifi, Netflix, full oven and even a dishwasher while still having access to a fire pit and lake. I had a very difficult time getting my kids to go home as they enjoyed staying there so much. Not to mention the fishing was amazing even from the dock. I will definitely be booking again with Q estates for even longer than a weekend maybe even taking a fishing tour provided...
