Went for the first time looking for a friendly advice on how to start skiing. Went for the very basic thing to just rent the equipment and learn the basics. But was surprised on how the bill was high, went to ask the clerk to find out that they charged me a helmet (which I didn’t get) and the pass to go up (which I didn’t use and didn’t ask for since It was my first time) so obviously I asked for a refund, they told me to come the next day as they closed the cash register. I called them the next day and the manager refused to give me the refund. The best ski hill close to my area (Kirkland Lake), very short slope, you spend more time on ski lift than skiing (haha), slopes very well maintained, lots of kids and sitting snowboarders in the middle of your way, also you will see more ski patrol than you can imagine, nothing happens...
