English translation below.
My friend and I took two separate rooms at Bed and Breakfast Bellevue (B&B Panorama). “Bellevue” describes the location perfectly. This beautiful house is located at the highest point of the island and looks out over strawberry fields to the river. (There is a "you pick" farm beside it.) I have travelled a lot over my 70+ years and can say with some context that this was one of the best accommodations at which I have stayed. From the moment that I called to book the rooms until our departure, everything was perfect. My friend’s room was completely private with its own little terrace. Blooming flowers and sitting areas surround the house. The suite upstairs was spacious also with a fabulous view. Both rooms were very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Khalid answered our questions and engaged in gracious conversation without being at all intrusive. His guests, who we met at small breakfast gatherings reflected Khalid’s easy friendliness. And the breakfasts! Each one was different according to Khalid’s inspirations – bowls of yogurt and berries, delicious creations of unique pancakes, fresh orange juice, coffee, tea and toast and bagels with a good assortment or delicious jams and syrups. I don’t generally stay at bed and breakfasts but this experience has made me reconsider doing so in the future. The cost would be of good value at a much greater price. Whether young or old, wealthy or of modest means, I highly recommend staying here to anyone who reads this review. I am sure that I will find my way back here for...

Our room was comfortable, clean, tastefully and uniquely decorated and well appointed. Lovely view from the rooms sitting area. The queen bed was comfortable and the sheets were super soft, likely bamboo. The breakfast was delicious comprising of freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee (or tea), fresh fruit with homemade yoghurt, half bagel with a fried egg & grated cheese, and there are additional breads and bagels for roasting if desired. Payment is made direct to the host prior to departure. |I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast and would stay there again if the...
Read moreVery cute little B&B on L'île d'Orlean. Quebec city itself was SUPER busy (thanksgiving 2025) so this was a very nice retreat away from all the chaos and people. And if you have a car, it's just 15 minutes away from Quebec's old port basically.
The rooms were clean, we stayed in the Panorama room and had our own bathroom. It had very much a "cottage" vibe, which is cute. I wish there was shampoo/conditioner, I think there was just hand soap in the shower. The sheets were comfortable, but the mattress was a little firm for my taste. The water does have that countryside sulfur smell, but you learn to live with it, you're on an island.
The breakfast was nice! And the owner...
