Villa Au bord de l'eau Maison de vacance à louer — Hotel in Saint-Laurent-de-l'Île-d'Orléans

We are a group of 14 members of a Dinner Club from Oakville, Ontario that chose Villa Au bord de l’eau for a four night 30th anniversary celebration in October. In short, the Villa exceeded our expectations and we all had a wonderful stay. The Villa was very clean, the beds were comfortable, there was ample storage room in the bedrooms, the kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped with paper, shampoo/conditioner/soap, tissues, cleaning supplies and garbage bags. Check-in and other instructions were clear. The kitchen and dining were completely supplied with a staggering amount and variety of glasses, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, coffee making equipment, a toaster, a countertop oven as well as two large fridges. Communications with Nadine were excellent from start to finish. We were delighted with her recommendation of a chef for our Celebratory Dinner. Yves Moreau, the Executive Chef at Le Massif and his sous chef came to the Villa and prepared a sensational meal for fourteen of us which was served in the large dining room, so large in fact that the room also had a pool table! The Villa is surprisingly large and no one felt cramped. During our 4 night stay there was not one occasion where we had to contact Nadine for clarification...

We hosted our family reunion at the Chalet from Jul 27 through Aug3 2025. Our three-generation group without exception enjoyed their stay. Its location on Isle de Orleans is seemingly remote quiet country living style yet conveniently located across the bridge from Quebec City affording easy access to history, night life restaurants and many points of interest pointed out by our personable, informative and entertaining Quebec City walking tour guide Frantz Noel. The variety of the Chalet's many venues were all well used and the indoor and outdoor dinning were greatly appreciated. The nearby Le Moulin de St Laurent restaurant handled our group with aplomb. We rented tandem bikes, but suggest you check correct functionality before renting. We also tried a tandem ocean kayak with was heavy and the girls found it difficult to launch on the rocky shoreline. Lots of out door games and a peaceful ambience adjacent to everything makes this place a winner. Older folks should exercise caution on a couple of the older steep stairways. Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at Villa Au Bord last week. The place and amenities are exactly as described, providing us with memories to last a lifetime. The Villa is beautiful inside and the outside is a stunning, serene slice of paradise. Kids (big and small) in the family enjoyed walking on the rocks after the tide subsided and loved seeing so many large boats sail by. The island itself has many activities and places to explore, our favourites were the ice cream shop and Mona Cassie - black currant wine is delicious! Most importantly, Nadine and her team are amazing and a pleasure to deal with. Kind, courteous and always available.
