To be fair, the place itself is fine - what you would expect from a chalet, cute and quiet. There were some issues like 1.place was freezing when we arrived - we simply turned up the heat; 2.food stains on the dish ware - we simply washed prior to use; 3.no wifi - disclosed on the posting. As these are small issues that we were able to fix ourselves, we looked past them and actually left a decent review on airbnb. What pissed me off is the owner, Felix Antoine, who wrote me a review saying we left everything extremely dirty and left all the heat high before leaving and would not host us again. We washed all dishware and cutlery before we left, put them back on the shelf provided, and put all the garbage in the bin. If this is his definition of "very dirty" then I don't believe he has a reasonable expectation. Yes, we did leave the temperature high prior to departure, cuz no guest expects to arrive at a chalet in freezing temperature and wear winter jackets in door for 10 minutes before it warms up. Overall, decent place, terrible owner.

It exceeded my expectations. Stephane was so kind to welcome us outside the check-in window, he is so respectful and responsive. The Chalet itself was beautiful and rustic, with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, living room and a balcony. All of it for yourself. Even it was no kitchen in the chalet there was all the appliances that you may need (fridge, 2 coffee makers, toaster, bread toaster, electric burner....) The main building has a big kitchen with everything there. Even we stayed just for one night we will definitely come back for longer period, because this place deserves to be a gateway not just a resting place. - mosquitoes 🦟 (bring something powerful because "Off" didn't work well and we've got a lot of big bites) - dusty (better bring your sheets and pillowcases)

Very cute cabin but they were doing construction and renting out one of the cabins for parties and playing loud music so there was nothing to do outside. I feel like they should've had a disclaimer about the construction. Cabin 5 is nice and tucked away though. The door pass code should be changed out each time and only given out right before arriving because I could easily guess the other cabins codes based on the code they gave us.
