Beautiful site and friendly staffs but that's about it, too many rules, tiny beach and only open when monitored, can't fish on anything but poorly maintained chaloupes, questionable priorities when it comes to maintenance, during our 4 days stay in July 2024, staffs were busy keeping the grass picturesque but no one cleaned the common area bathrooms and they were NASTY, especially since the site was popular with teenage party goers late at night. Fire was set in there and there was water and pee everywhere. The camping sites were secluded on top of a hill, calm but riddled with mosquito because of dense tree coverage. We didn't take the all inclusive formula but were told the food wasn't that great, they had poutine for dinner for instance, ok for weekend stay but won't stay a week long.
Edit: bumped to 3* after learning the party situation supposedly wasn't the norm but from what I've gathered from the teens there that it wasn't their first rideo but more like a yearly ritual but our biggest complain are the toilet cleanliness, they are the goto bathroom for campers, if you have other accommodation, it may not be as important, they should be cleaned at the very least once a day, some other places are cleaned 2-3...
Read moreMy family and some friends went and rented a cabin for the weekend. It is such a nice and beautiful place to go and spend time without your phones and t,v distractions. Beautiful scenery and so quiet. We went the beginning of March the ice was still frozen. We went with our 3 year old daughter and the water slide for the summer is the sliding hill for kids and then they have 2 other bigger hills to go tubing down. It was so much fun. They have sleigh to pull your child tonand from the dinner room and to use while there. It takes about 30 minutes to walk all around the lake. The food was delicious and lots of options to choose from. They also do have a building next to where you eat that has wifi if you do need to check emails or stuff like that. We didn't get to check that building out. The only thing I would suggest is bring your own pillows as there's are very flat and the beds are not comfortable at all. But I would rather deal with a sore back for some beautiful peace and quiet spending time with my family . Can't wait to go back...
