The Moulin is a beautifully renovated old stone mill right on the river with the mill stream babbling past our window and a nice deck. Sylvie and Gervais are very congenial hosts who take a genuine interest in their guests and are always around with local lore, to answer questions and talk about the mill's history. Our ground floor room, with original stone walls, a shower and sink (shared toilet next door) was small but tastefully decorated. There is a TV lounge with lots of books, also on the ground floor, and on the lower level there are more books, a kettle and a nice selection of herbal teas. This is where Sylvie serves a superb, copious and delicious breakfast - several items to choose from. We had omelettes, yogurt and fruit, home made poppy seed bread and toast with homemade jam.We were sad we had to leave right after breakfast to catch the ferry to the north shore - a couple of hours to explore the shore in the morning would have been a pleasure. Read moreWe stayed here last summer for 3 nights, both before and after our trip up north on the Desgagnés. This is a lovely B&B, we had 2 nights in the room overlooking the stream which was music to our ears at night. The third night was in the room overlooking the St.Lawrence, an incredible view, birds on the beach, a beautiful sunset. Both rooms were very comfortable, clean and quiet The very best part of this B%B are the hosts, Sylvie and Gervais, they are very gracious, kind people with extremely interesting life stories, who went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. They recommended restaurants in St.Luce, a short walk away, they were great fun to talk with, Gervais has a great sense of humor, Sylvie prepares delicious breakfasts. We had hoped to go back there this year, but unfortunately, Covid keeps us on the order side...

The B&B is a restored mill built in 1848. Our room faced the cascading river as it meets the St-Lawrence river. You get to fall asleep to the sound of rushing water and waves. The room had a comfortable bed, shower and sink. It shares a w.c. with another room. A third room has it's own full bathroom. ||Sylvie and Gervais are great hosts and will make sure you enjoy your stay. Breakfast was on the terrace overlooking the river and was more like brunch. It's the kind of place where you can sit peacefully and watch the tide...
