Great camping spot, easy access off the highway, yet you don't notice the highway is close. Very clean well kept campground. Bathrooms were cleaned every couple hours, never garbage laying around. Super friendly owners. Lots of fun activities going on along with the pond for the kids to play at, multiple playgrounds, pool, place to play ball hockey or basketball, large open area where we played baseball, bike rentals, the arcade could use some different machines, but really having one at all is just a perk. There was so much else to do it wasn't needed anyway. The sites were a good size, not too crowded, and even let us have an extra vehicle parked there for no charge! All in all definitely recommend this spot, and we will for sure be back!

We bought our camper this month and Campy The Moose is part of the campaign of dealer to have him in his different environments. Ours at Upper Canada was the best. Our first time using a trailer and being at a campground of this type. We were above amazed. Everyone was friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better location, even the humidity wasn't disappointing our weekend. First time for our almost 11yr old Pekingese Missy's first time camping period. Took some adjustments but, she was enjoying herself as well especially thinking it is her campground and gaurding as such...lol. She was so cute! We definitely going back!!! Beach, pool animals and friendly people=the best weekend ever!

We had a great time camping here. I used to as a child with my parents. Bringing my children was an absolute blast of a time! Will be going back again. Staff are extremely friendly. Such a beautiful and we'll kept campground.

We booked a tent lot for the weekend but ended up leaving after just one night — it was that unpleasant.

Our site had zero privacy, with another tent just 20 feet away and no trees or barriers in between. There was little to no shade, and the lot was covered in goose poop, like it hadn’t been cleaned all season. On top of that, the lots are tiny, and ours was basically a shortcut to the beach, so people were constantly walking through it.

There were unsupervised kids running through our space and even throwing rocks at geese. Between that and the constant noise from the 401 highway (yes, it’s right next to it), this was not the peaceful camping experience we were looking for. The place honestly felt more like a trailer park than a campground.

To be fair, the pool was clean and the staff were friendly, but that wasn’t nearly enough to make up for the rest.

Might be okay for families with kids who don’t mind the noise and lack of nature, but for couples or anyone looking for quiet, privacy, or a real camping vibe — I’d...

Our Grand daughter is a senior interpreter at Upper Canada Village. Since we don't live near there we decided to fine a campground near UCV so we could stay close by for the two weekends she was in the program.||||We really lucked out on this one. They have two pools plus a swimming / play boating pond. Parks with play stuff and sand and programmed activities through out the week. Also an arcade and entertainment areas. Also some rental pedal vehicles for the kids and adults.||||Staff are friendly and attentive. The transient sites have 15 or 30 Amp with water. There is a dump station, however if you are there for a week or more they come around and pump you out on Fridays and Mondays.||||My grand daughter is really happy with the campground and so are...

As we only stayed overnight, I don't know about all of their facilities but the sites we were assigned were horrible. They were not level and the ground was very soft. I doubt that changes much as there was no drainage for the area we were in. We sank into the soft ground and could not get either trailer we were travelling with properly level. The operator who led us to the site picked up the beer cans and garbage that was left from someone else and tossed them in our fire pit (?!). Our happy hour entertainment was watching and listening to one of the operators going back and forth with the garden tractor hauling dirt to another area of the camp. The water was horrible with a strong taste and odour. Overall a disappointment to pay full price for...
