My experience was outrageous!!! Had to keep buzzing at the gate to be let in to start with.. I was driving a motorhome and was asked to move over to the shoulder to let a work mans truck by. The owner told me to move over and caused me to run into a pole and damaged my MH!!! I was booked for a site with electric, water and sewer. But now I could not get hoses for my MH. No water or sewerage. There was a storm that caused a power outage and NOBODY CAME to see if we were all safe! I was told by the owner that they are not responsible to ensure our safety. We could not contact the owner and had to rely on the kindness of our neighbour to help us out. Therefore our batteries died and we had no power and could not leave or move! Thank you Rob and Nam for making our visit so simple and welcoming. We enjoyed our time there, and hope to have the littles play together again in the Spring. I know you have good plans for the future of the campground. Currently have a number of FHU, RV sites and a bunch of tent sites with and without electricity. Bathrooms and showers available. Quiet, currently grass sites, with full hookups and plenty of room. Surrounded by farmland and flowing creeks with salmon spawning (in fall). This is a centrally located oasis of quiet. I went to visit a friend who has a trailer at Rainbow Valley Campground in Bayfield. I grew up every summer there Campung with my grandparents, Jack and Marie Shipman, my Aunt and Uncle Doreen and Terry, cousin Jenn. Tons of memories came flooding back in... what a great visit! This is more off Grid camping! No power or water so lots of generators and solar panels. I'd love to get my family in there and live out my life at the trailer.
