We travelled through Terrace on our way to Prince Rupert and stayed here.||The room was extremely clean,as was the bathroom.||There was a TV,fridge,microwave,coffee pot ,tea ,coffee whitener and sweetener.||There is a treed RV site attached to the motel. Numerous sites already filled.||The owner (Jim) is very well versed in local fishing information,and a wealth of knowledge.||The only downside for us were the train whistles every few hours,the tracks are close.||I would think the RV goers would not be as disturbed by the train whistles ,as they are further away.||We also kept our window open.||Of course the motel owners have no control over trains and whistles!||||It felt safe to be at this motel.||We will definitely return, and hopefully get a room further away from the whistles.||||Free WiFi||I will remember to bring...

Read moreOne thing about camping in Northern BC, you can always count on everyone being very friendly. The gentleman that checked us in was friendly and even offered us free herbs from a little herb garden growing next to our site. We were only staying for one night, but we wanted showers and coffee for the morning as we knew we were catching the ferry the next day. There was free wifi, and it probably was fast, had we been closer to the wifi signal. One HUGE drawback is that there are very loud trains going past. But to be quite honest, this does not take away from the charm of Wild Duck. The site we were in was large, and fit us very well, we live in a 34 foot motor coach, so we are very big.
