My husband had booked a night here this passed long weekend it was very cute full kitchen living dining area combo. Loved the beach access and views of the mountain. Our only issues were the bed was uncomfortable to our likings (not to say others wouldn’t like it) we were asked to remove our own garbage and place it outside in the dumpster , while that’s not a major deal but for the price paid plus the high cleaning fee i didn’t like it. I did remove our garbage but it’s principle. Staying in a motel and paying a service I should receive the entire service. I myself am a professional cleaner and collecting garbage is apart of the service. The shower grout was also mouldy and orange which if being cleaned properly wouldn’t look that way leading me to question what other areas of cleaning is having some cut corners while paying full price for that service. I don’t necessarily blame the owners but I’d suggest they speak to their cleaners. I added screen shots from a video taken. I had tried sending the video to the owners number but it wouldn’t go through. All in all I enjoyed my stay. Nice features of the corn hole and bbq obviously loved the beach access and location. Not sold on the bang for my buck though.

Had a wonderful experience staying at The Lake at Blue Mountains. Prior to our stay, we were sent healthy reminders and the host was very helpful when it came to address any questions of concerns prior to our stay. We received detailed instructions the day of our check in and we were happy with the room. We stayed here with a toddler and our dog and they both loved the space as well. We were happy that the room came fully equipped with a kitchenette and everything you needed to prepare your own meals (minus the food). The bathroom, bedroom and the living room were all well kept and sufficiently cozy to host us comfortably. We absolutely loved the private beach access. Our toddler and doggo enjoyed themselves running around, playing in the water and watching the gorgeous sunsets. We enjoyed our stay overall and we hope to return again some day!

Very nice place, but for a first time off season visit, check it out! Friendly, clean, awesome. Season activities would add more to the experience, but we're off-season looking for a drink/walk/ eat tour! Collingwood had more eat / drink/ interaction experience! It's awesome that someone is watching comments/ interactions on customers' experiences ! Our one-star rating was, for the moment, our over expectations and not realizing the season activities weren't started yet! It was our first time at Blue Mountain, and we thought it was great but invasioned more downtown. " Hey, how are you?" is a type of atmosphere! Sorry for the first rating. It was an expectation of months of research for a siblings' getaway!

"Booking Lake Blue Mountain was a spontaneous decision during a last-minute trip to rescue an adorable dog, requiring a 4-hour journey from the north. With a strong affinity for the Blue Mountains, I've frequented the area but often found accommodations in the village to be costly. Thanks to Airbnb, I stumbled upon this charmingly remodeled Motel just a stone's throw away from a breathtaking private beach, offering unparalleled views of the majestic Blue Mountains from the water - an absolute spectacle!

The room's decor, featuring angled ceilings with ship-lap rafters and a beachy ambiance, perfectly matched my style preferences. Every nook and cranny exuded cleanliness, both inside and out, including the inviting exterior spaces. The icing on the cake? The property is pet-friendly, allowing me to enjoy a memorable stay with my furry companion.

After experiencing the tranquility and beauty of Lake Blue Mountain, I've made a firm decision to forgo staying in the bustling Blue Mountain Village. Knowing that I can have a cozy retreat here, enjoy the beach, explore the village, and save money in the process has made this spot my new go-to destination in the Blue Mountains. A truly delightful find that promises an...

Stayed here for one night.

Service: I had initially booked the wrong date, the owners were quite responsive in getting me the right date. There were emails sent prior to arrival for info, to ensure my check in was successful and a final email for check out.

Room/Area: You can tell the owners have tried to decorate and maintain it, but because of the beach vibe, you can see the worn out in the room overall. Walked into a few spider webs at the "front" (but not the entrance) of the rooms. Also unfortunately, we smelled the washroom having a urine smell and the towels you can smell the staleness of it being laid out on the wooden furniture. The appliances (tv, stove) look great, clean and barely touched.

Location wise: Upon arrival, weird to figure out you have to park at the back with no signs up front to say so. The beach requires a ~5 min walk. The private beach is a small community beach and it appears the neighbor that has direct beach access are not all that impressed given signs of "No Trespassing" Within 7-8 min drive from the Village, which is great.

Price: Overall a very high price for the room in which I don't see the value. I would have paid a bit more to stay...
