I would not have been this disappointed if they weren't so misleading. Margaret told us that there would be enough of room for 5 people which in reality I would say 3 people at most. The bunk bed was shoved into a storage area with no door. It was very wobbly and was about to break, we were lucky that we brought an air mattress. There was almost no storage space. The kitchen appliances such as the kettle were dirty and smelt bad. Margaret was sweet at times but at other times she had an attitude. She was persistent on settling the account and didn't give us any time to settle down when we got there. There was disturbing construction with loud machinery and it was emphasized that it was a quiet neighbourhood, as well as loud music every morning. Pets are allowed but our cat got heatstroke and had to be picked up because there was only one fan but we still payed the fee. The porch light did not work so we had to eat in the dark as the inside table was very small. There is a lack of privacy as you're in her backyard. You can hear and see everything as their deck is just a couple metres away from the windows. Lots of yelling and arguing between the owners. Very disrespectful to the guests who are here to relax. She took $50 from the damage deposit because the floor was not swept and dishes were left out to dry. There was some peeling on the cabinets that was there before and she blamed it on us and called it "water damage".The beach was down the street and was beautiful so we spent most of our time there. I am quite disappointed but we tried to make it a good stay anyway given the circumstances. Would...

We had such a great experience last year, so we couldn't be more excited to go back this year! We love the atmosphere of the Tiny Beach, beach is quite private, no public parking anywhere so only people around are vacationers from the area and the people there are so nice and friendly. This time we stayed at the back cottage, which is as big as the other one, just doesn't have bunk beds. The cottage was very clean and had all the necessities for the stay (pots, pans, toaster, cutlery, hot plate, BBQ etc.). There is a gazebo, great place to have a morning coffe. This year owners added cabana, which was a nice place to relax as had very comfy seating. Our 2 cats 🐈 also enjoyed the stay, we were very lucky we could bring them. We love this place, the owners are very nice, quick to answer if any questions and welcomed us with some muffins which was a nice touch. Will definitely go back next year!
2020: It was two of us staying at a smaller cottage. The cottage is compact but it was comfortable for two ppl. We cooked all meals on the private patio which has a bbq. Most time we spent on the beach, but whenever we were at the cottage it was quiet (we were lucky to have nice ppl staying in a 2nd cottage). The owners were very pleasant and helpful. I forgot sheets so Margaret very kindly brought a set. We were very happy they allowed us to bring our cat with us, he had a great time laying on the grass and exploaring. We loved it so much we are going back in a month!
By the way the beach is great there. We had high tide, water was amazing and beach was never too busy. Sunsets...
Read moreThis was our second year at Tiny Beaches Getaway and it was absolutely fantastic. Our kids are still asking to go back and want us to buy them bunk beds. Margaret and Gus are wonderful hosts and we felt like we were right at home. We forgot a few items and they graciously gave us what we needed and then some. The cottage is small and cozy and we loved it. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It’s nice that the kitchen is stocked with utensils, dishware and appliances, so we didn’t have to bring them with us. You get your own BBQ outside as well. We needed to get away as a family and it was better than what we imagined. Just across the street is a beautiful beach and you are so close to everything. It’s nice to have your own camp fire, patio table and seating area in the evenings. The kids had plenty of space to play around the cottage. We even relaxed and watched movies on the television and played games on the rainy days. It was great and we cannot wait until we get to go...
