Pioneer Bay Campground — Hotel in Unorganized Division No. 21

Beautiful, wheelchair friendly, and Sam Snack Shack is awesome... But the beach has Swimmers itch, so be warned... 7 of us went in, 7 of us got itch... There is no shower to wash it off, and we dryed off to the max and still got it. Currently on day 5, and still have spots, but the itching is not to bad today. Took away one star because there is no signage to warn you, and they should have a shower at hand for...

There is a lot of horse flies out there and if you are one that prefers having a bit of privacy between you and your neighbor campers this wouldn't be a spot for you. Really open and close campsites. But the beach is really near and there is a snack bar that has a good menu for you to make a day out at the lake or just to lazy to cook one night...

We've been fortunate to spend the last 23 summers of my life at Clearwater Lake Manitoba. Pioneer Bay is where memories are made deep in the boreal forest. Crystal clear water with boat launch, with snack and chips from Sam's Snack Bar, which deserves a review all on its own. 5 star natural wonder!...
