Stayed (August 9th to 12th)||Located just out of Bridgetown on Highway 1 in a lovely rural setting this B and B is run to make you feel part of a family rather than a paying guest. ||Although the owners have other jobs at well they never make you feel an additional chore.||Breakfast was available at a time convenient for you ( with in their advertised times).||Suggestions of what to do away from the normal tourist things are promptly provided and show the interest in the local area of spots that may otherwise be overlooked.||Although only three rooms (part of the family home) the heart and passion shown may otherwise be overlooked with a larger establishment. ||If you are after being centrally located for exploring the Digby area and Valley and are after something other than the normal motel and touristy things. To see the real Nova Scotia give this a try. ||Just be aware that other than special events this is an area of small country towns so things tend to end early in...

Never-the-less, we would like to go back some time because of all the...

The owners have a variety of animals but they are not intrusive on the guests.||||We had a lovely bright, clean and comfortable queen room on the ground floor, which had its own refrigerator but not a coffee maker. Really good towels were provided. Breakfast was fairly straightforward – a bacon/ham and egg combination, some fruit and toast, with juice and coffee/tea – taken at a communal table.||The road is quiet at night but because the B&B has hard floors it could be a bit noisy if people were talking loudly. It was quiet overnight though.||We thought it was very good...
