Belle Vue Cottage — Hotel in Upper Island Cove

Our stay at Belle Vue Cottage was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived we felt like a breath of fresh air and just started to relax!. The single-level layout made it easy to move around for my dad and with four bedrooms and two full bathrooms, there was plenty of space and comfort. I will remind folks that the 3 bedrooms are double not queens, while the master is a king. The kitchen was well equipped, perfect for cooking meals, I was glad there was some pantry items and providing coffee and tea was the most wonderful gift! Large table to house the 6 of us as well as to play cards in the evening.

The hosts were responsive and helpful. I appreciated the effort to make it accessible and comfortable for all guests..lots of cute and quaint touches.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway in Newfoundland with all the comforts of home. Spectacular ocean and cliff views from this very clean and well maintained newer home just minutes from Bay Roberts and Carbonear. We loved the kitchen and the open concept floor plan with everything you need onsite. The beds were comfy and the sheets were luxuriously soft. They had two TVs with Eastlink TV and Netflix. There was even a large dog bed ready for our pup with food and water bowls. They thought of everything! We loved exploring the area and walked around Goose Pond and had a delicious meal at Don’s restaurant. It is an ideal location to easily get to the airport within an hour. What an amazing 6 days at this gem! Very homey and well equipped with a view that can't be beat! Closely located to so many 'must sees'. The hosts were fabulous and made sure we had everything we needed. Felt like coming home after every day trip. From games, books (Hidden Newfoundland was a very nice surprise to take us on unique adventures), fresh treats for our arrival and recommendations on places to see and eat.....this place provided it all. Upper Island Cove is beautiful and this place truly was Bell Vue!!...
