Update..reply to their response.... LMAO...I did Abid by their rules that I read ... by asking permission to put up a gazebo...got permission...then lied to by saying I didn't....so what fricken part of not reading the rules did I fail!!!! Again.....a prime example of poor management!!!!!
If I could give a negative star review I would. I packed up my trailer lot at another campground to go to grangeways. That was the biggest mistake that I made a year ago. A year before I moved my trailer I contacted grangeways about getting in there. I was told there's a waiting list and I was put on it. I then got an email stating there is a lot if I would like to come and look at it... So I did. I was not impressed with the lot at all, but thought at least my foot is in the door due to I really wanted to be there. It is in the middle of kidville and it's not even past the gate in the park. The reason why my lot and the lot beside me was empty was because nobody wanted to be there . The lot is right beside the Mini putt, ball hockey arena (in which my trailer got hit a few times by different types of balls) as well, half the year I had to listen to loud machinery while they built a basketball court on the other side of me (a nice gesture would have been some money off of my fee due to the disruption it caused me.) this disruption lasted about half the season. My dog almost got hit by a car. He was on his leash and on his lot, but didn't seem to matter, due to people still pulling off onto my lot. I did leave my name on the waiting list for a better site in the park. Once I was set up at this shitty lot, I started to get to know people within the park and was told that they called about getting in and within a week or two they had a lot in the park, meanwhile, I've been on the waiting list for over a year. Throughout the season a couple came to look at the shitty lot beside me and came over to chat. A couple weeks later I saw them again and they told me they got to choose from two lots within the park. I did go to try and talk management, but every time I approached her she turned her head away and didn't want to talk to me. Management does not know how to treat people properly or to run a big park? If you can't even talk to me regarding things, you have no business being in management. I was constantly being picked on... Different rules for different campers!!!! One example of many...is I had sent her pics of my lot at the other trailer park, she totally loved it. I asked for permission to put up my canopy and I was told yes I could. We then got a visitor by the management's father, he didn't like it and asked if we got permission. My son and I told him yes we did via email. Well due to him not liking it he went back to his daughter and told her it's to come down. Even though the exact same canopy , just a different color , was set up at a different campsite . So I received an email telling me I didn't get permission and it's to come down. She started calling it a party tent. Well I have emails saying I had permission with a picture and she tried to tell me no I didn't. Attached is bits from the email giving me permission and then telling me I didn't have permission. That is one of many incidents that happened to me at this park. My 2024 camping season was the worst summer I have ever had. She caused me so much anxiety and depression.... That, I barely left my lot. Now on a positive note..... All the campers that I met that season were absolutely wonderful!!!! They also all saw how she was treating me and didn't understand...
Read moreI WENT THERE IN THE OFF SEASON TO VISIT MY SISTER IN LAW WHO WAS CAMPING FOR A FEW DAYS. IN THE EVENING AFTER 7:00 WITH MY HUSBAND AND WENT TO THE OFFICE TO LET THEM KNOW I WANTED TO VISIT HER FOR 1 HOUR AS WELL AS CHECK OUT THE PARK AND THE PERSON IN THE OFFICE CHARGED ME 14.00 TO GET IN. THERE WERE NO SERVICES TO USE IN THE PARK. EVERYTHING WAS SHUT DOWN. THE PARK WAS EMPTY THE HOT WATER TAPS WERE NOT EVEN ON IN THE BATHROOM. i OFFERED TO PAY A REDUCED FEE BUT SHE REJECTED THAT. ONE REASON WE WENT THERE IS TO SEE IF WE WOULD LIKE TO CAMP THERE. WE OFTEN GO TO CAMPGROUNDS BEFORE HAND AND LOOK AROUND TO SEE IF WE WOULD LIKE TO VISIT THAT CAMPGROUND AND I HAVE NEVER COME ACROSS A SITUATION LIKE THIS. i UNDERSTAND ABOUT THE VISITOR PER DAY FEE AND I AM OK WITH THAT BUT REALLY FOR 1 HOUR AND NOT THE WHOLE DAY AND NOT EVEN IN PRIME SEASON THAT IS CRAZY. THEY WILL NOT BE SEEING US ANY TIME SOON. SOMETIMES IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS YOU SHOULD BEND THE RULES A LITTLE BECAUSE YOU MAY JUST GET A LOT MORE BUSINESS . I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS KIND...
Read moreWe’ve visited many RV campgrounds across Ontario, but none have been as well-maintained and well-equipped with recreational facilities as this one.
During our 7-night, 8-day stay at Grangeway, our family was thoroughly satisfied and created so many wonderful memories. The office staff were always welcoming and kind, which left a great impression.
The laundry facilities—both washers and dryers—were clean and well-maintained, and the restrooms were consistently spotless.
While registering every visitor upon arrival might seem like a hassle to some, we appreciated it as it made our camping experience feel more private and secure.
We’ve considered getting a seasonal site for a long time as we camped around different places, but never found one that felt just right—until we visited Grangeway. After this stay, our family has decided to sign a seasonal contract here this year.
I can confidently say that once you camp here, you’ll 100% agree with my review. You won’t regret...
