The auberge is charming and very clean and well-kept - including the rooms. The hot-tub and spa are the perfect way to relax, and there's just enough on-site activities (skating, cross-country skiing, hiking in the woods) to make you feel like you've earned it. The hosts are very friendly and helpful - enough english to get by if you're uni-lingual but patient if you'd like to brush up on your French, too! Definitely have at least one dinner while there - very good seasonal food for a very reasonable price, plus the opportunity to bring your own wine to the table. Read moreThe weekend stay here was brilliant. Nicely maintained cottages with a fully functional kitchen. We stayed in Le Carribou 2, plenty of place for 10 people to sleep. The water body in the front was a nice place to relax on your kayaks as well. The firepit was great (you can get a lot of firewoods at the management office for 5 CAD).
