Although we have some critical feedback, overall we loved our 5 night stay in the Bunkies at SV and will likely visit again! Our group had 3 families, we were in the Beary bunkie, another was in the cabin right beside us the "zebra" rustic cabin and another was in an RV site. Amongst us were 5 children 5 and under, but all over 2. We all liked: the cabins, the beach and all the beach amenities, the new playground, the splash pad/ kiddie slides. We all had problems at different times in different scenarios with the Lifeguards at this facility. There is a very confusing system in place for the "use this slide if your child needs to be caught" sign. The guards do not have good communication, and do not follow the same policies and procedures from day to day or even shift to shift. My 2 yr old son, who had been caught at the bottom of the slide in the morning, was left to walk out on his own in the afternoon. Allow me to clarify, she did catch my son but all morning the guard had been then lifting him out the side- this guard caught him and put him down in neck- height water unexpectedly and thought he could just walk to the stairs. My son reacted so poorly to this change of procedure it ruined the rest of our day, we had to leave. When I asked for clarification from her she was very unapologetic and said that's the way she does it. Ok? Additionally, on day 1, I myself went down a small slide at the request of my 5 yr old, to her delight. I did this 3-4 times with not a look from the guard. The next day I was yelled at. So, utter confusion and no clear systems in place for that. ADDITIONALLY additionally, the "discount" for the water park if you're a guest is pathetic. For 3 tickets for 1 day (our smallest was free) was still over $100. So we did this twice but honestly the 2 days entry for $250 was astronomical, and one was free!!!! AND we were treated rudely AND there's no pool or space to swim there for anyone not small, it's 3 large waterslides, AND the food took 30+ minutes so... All in all, the water park was a big disappointment.

What can I say....this was definitely a trip to remember for the family! The kids had the time of their lives! We spent the week there with our RV and got to have so much fun each and everyday. The water slides are great to go on but I will be honest, it's best to experience them during the week as it gets quite busy on the weekends. For example, the wait time for the slides during the weekday was no more than 1-3 minutes whereas the weekend, it would take a good 20 minutes in line. Zip lining was also an amazing experience! And their sandy beach is a really nice size with a great dock to dive off of along with paddle boats, a water trampoline and canoes. The splash pad had a lot of different things shooting out water and the food at the canteen was also really good! The water passes also include access to their mini putt which the kids also enjoyed playing. The whole park is really clean and well maintained, including the washrooms. The lot we rented was quite large (lot 177). We had our rv parked, 2 cars, a 12x12screened tent and still lots of room to enjoy the fire. There were lots of great families that we met there, everyone is super friendly! The kids are already asking when we will be going back again. 😀 we will be sure to return to this place!

We loved our experience here again this year and this time we brought more family! This resort offers something for everybody. Literally every type of accommodation is available: yurt, full service suites, rustic or deluxe cabin, bunkie, serciced pull-through trailer sites, spacious camping with or without service. Full service washrooms are available including showers and laundry. Recent upgrades on the lake include a large flamingo waterslide and inflatable splash park. The zip line was removed and outdoor lazer tag was added in 2025. There is a spring fed lake for swimming and fishing. There are 5 waterslides including 2 for kids aged 3-6 and 3 for kids aged 6-99. Splash pad available for babies and toddlers. Note there is a reduced rate water park fee for overnighters. Waterslides often have no lines. The splash park often has a single rotation wait time of about 15 mins mkst days. Mini-golf course is in rough shape, but is free for overnight guests. Sites have campfire pits, check for fire bans some years. This is an exceptional family vacation experience; the best kept secret in North-Eastern Ontario!

UPDATE March 29, 2025- The park was Logos Land when we stayed there, so this review may no longer apply...it is up to you to take a chance and find out. The park is definitely more elaborate, but that doesn't affect my particular stay. Prices likely have changed, I just hope the housekeeping has improved, as well as the staff being more informed, accommodating and helpful to paying guests Good luck with your stay 😁 Long, but informative review below may be worth the read.

I wish I could give a great review, but I'm unhappy with some of the aspects of this trip.

I booked here even though it was after the water park closed, but figured my 10 year-old son and I could make it a good time anyways. We did well since there was (an outdated) but fun playground that we could swing and see-saw and kick the soccer ball around a good-sized area. There was a BBQ right beside the room to cook on, so that was convenient.

We rented the studio suite so we could have a getaway a bit better than camping. It was a good size for what we needed, but since I clean homes/cottages for a living, I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness. It wasn't gross by any means, but it should still look like it was cleaned in the last week or 2. The baseboards, window and sills had dust, spots and cobwebs. The microwave plate wasn't wiped. The mini-fridge was a bit noisy and A/C/heating element made the room vibrate. I just shut it right down. Luckily, it wasn't a hot day and having the windows open was nice (even though one by the bed didn't open). There was only one roll of TP aside from the 1/4 roll that was on the holder. Good thing neither of us were having tummy troubles. The bed and sheets were comfy, and the "private" shower was good, but I don't know if what we got was worth $125.

They have a promotion on for getting a free night of you are there from September 4th to October 26th. However, I didn't know this when I booked last week. I brought it up at the front desk, but she said she was unable to put the promo code in after, so there was nothing they could do to get us a free night. Too bad, because we would've stayed again tonight and likely gone back again in the future. A little effort to contact management or someone that could make it happen somehow would've gone a long way with me, even if it still didn't happen. Nor did they offer a free night another time, a discount on something in the park next season, something. I may have forgotten having to kill a few daddy longlegs when we first got there.

I know if I worked at a place like that, I'd be doing what I could to get/keep business. Not sure if Logos Land makes stellar customer service a priority. They certainly aren't concerned with making sure the room is super clean before someone comes in. I'm talking 10 minutes worth of a good wipe down of all surfaces, and that's all. Had I brought any of my supplies, I would've spent 30 getting it up to my usual standards, but I was on vacation, and I kept thinking it was cleaner than a campsite.

I'm sad to say we may not return again, mostly because I think we should've got to take advantage of the promotion since it's during the allotted time. That room is now empty, and instead of enjoying the beach and location again today with my son, and then likely promoting the place, I'm home complaining about all of the things I didn't...

We live close to logos land, it’s been around for as long as I can remember. I decided to book a 3 night stay on one of the rv sites. 166 close to the lake. After reading the reviews I was a little leery and worried but it’s close to home and an adventure away. I’d like to clear up some negative reviews here because there seems to be a lot and most are not true. ||This is direct from the campsite via email prior to booking my site: |Yes, if you pay the $25 for over night guest this includes the waterslides, splashpad, mini golf, water trampoline and paddle boats.||If you are an overnight guest, then yes, you can use your own watercraft on the lake after the waterpark closes. ||If you are camping, you can bring a portable BBQ to your site, but they are not permitted in the waterpark or beach area.||Also the mini putt is free to use at anytime as an over night guest during business hours. ||My kids found something to do the entire stay and didn’t get board.||The cost to use extras especially water slides and zip lines boring or not is the same as most other campsites (the last 3 I visited charged for paddle boat and kayak rentals). Only 1 campsite Lakeview had free kayaks and a water trampoline. I feel like reviewers expecting everything to be free should do more research instead of visiting than complaining after the fact. I’ve never seen a campsite with more kid friendly activities again weather they are boring or not they are there and available. ||They look to be adding extras and slowly upgrading areas and sites and we would surely come back. To the 1 star review about removing tent sites and replacing it with uneven no grass rv sites, they look to be freshly made and seeded areas to IMPROVE the park? Plus newly built bunkies across from it. Pictures attached. ||I’m not sure what people expect to be honest after visiting 4 campsites in 4 weeks this was by far my kids favourite. (Ages 10 and 12 with 1 guest of my sons age 12).||We would return but I do agree with other reviewers the RV sites are on the small side and it could get cramped during a busy time so maybe by removing 1 or 2 sites per row would help with crowding. ||All and all if anyway can find an RV park with free water slides, water trampolines, paddle boats, kayaks, peddle water bikes, zip lining and mini putt please...
