UPDATE March 29, 2025- The park was Logos Land when we stayed there, so this review may no longer apply...it is up to you to take a chance and find out. The park is definitely more elaborate, but that doesn't affect my particular stay. Prices likely have changed, I just hope the housekeeping has improved, as well as the staff being more informed, accommodating and helpful to paying guests Good luck with your stay 😁 Long, but informative review below may be worth the read.
I wish I could give a great review, but I'm unhappy with some of the aspects of this trip.
I booked here even though it was after the water park closed, but figured my 10 year-old son and I could make it a good time anyways. We did well since there was (an outdated) but fun playground that we could swing and see-saw and kick the soccer ball around a good-sized area. There was a BBQ right beside the room to cook on, so that was convenient.
We rented the studio suite so we could have a getaway a bit better than camping. It was a good size for what we needed, but since I clean homes/cottages for a living, I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness. It wasn't gross by any means, but it should still look like it was cleaned in the last week or 2. The baseboards, window and sills had dust, spots and cobwebs. The microwave plate wasn't wiped. The mini-fridge was a bit noisy and A/C/heating element made the room vibrate. I just shut it right down. Luckily, it wasn't a hot day and having the windows open was nice (even though one by the bed didn't open). There was only one roll of TP aside from the 1/4 roll that was on the holder. Good thing neither of us were having tummy troubles. The bed and sheets were comfy, and the "private" shower was good, but I don't know if what we got was worth $125.
They have a promotion on for getting a free night of you are there from September 4th to October 26th. However, I didn't know this when I booked last week. I brought it up at the front desk, but she said she was unable to put the promo code in after, so there was nothing they could do to get us a free night. Too bad, because we would've stayed again tonight and likely gone back again in the future. A little effort to contact management or someone that could make it happen somehow would've gone a long way with me, even if it still didn't happen. Nor did they offer a free night another time, a discount on something in the park next season, something. I may have forgotten having to kill a few daddy longlegs when we first got there.
I know if I worked at a place like that, I'd be doing what I could to get/keep business. Not sure if Logos Land makes stellar customer service a priority. They certainly aren't concerned with making sure the room is super clean before someone comes in. I'm talking 10 minutes worth of a good wipe down of all surfaces, and that's all. Had I brought any of my supplies, I would've spent 30 getting it up to my usual standards, but I was on vacation, and I kept thinking it was cleaner than a campsite.
I'm sad to say we may not return again, mostly because I think we should've got to take advantage of the promotion since it's during the allotted time. That room is now empty, and instead of enjoying the beach and location again today with my son, and then likely promoting the place, I'm home complaining about all of the things I didn't...
Read moreWe live close to logos land, it’s been around for as long as I can remember. I decided to book a 3 night stay on one of the rv sites. 166 close to the lake. After reading the reviews I was a little leery and worried but it’s close to home and an adventure away. I’d like to clear up some negative reviews here because there seems to be a lot and most are not true. ||This is direct from the campsite via email prior to booking my site: |Yes, if you pay the $25 for over night guest this includes the waterslides, splashpad, mini golf, water trampoline and paddle boats.||If you are an overnight guest, then yes, you can use your own watercraft on the lake after the waterpark closes. ||If you are camping, you can bring a portable BBQ to your site, but they are not permitted in the waterpark or beach area.||Also the mini putt is free to use at anytime as an over night guest during business hours. ||My kids found something to do the entire stay and didn’t get board.||The cost to use extras especially water slides and zip lines boring or not is the same as most other campsites (the last 3 I visited charged for paddle boat and kayak rentals). Only 1 campsite Lakeview had free kayaks and a water trampoline. I feel like reviewers expecting everything to be free should do more research instead of visiting than complaining after the fact. I’ve never seen a campsite with more kid friendly activities again weather they are boring or not they are there and available. ||They look to be adding extras and slowly upgrading areas and sites and we would surely come back. To the 1 star review about removing tent sites and replacing it with uneven no grass rv sites, they look to be freshly made and seeded areas to IMPROVE the park? Plus newly built bunkies across from it. Pictures attached. ||I’m not sure what people expect to be honest after visiting 4 campsites in 4 weeks this was by far my kids favourite. (Ages 10 and 12 with 1 guest of my sons age 12).||We would return but I do agree with other reviewers the RV sites are on the small side and it could get cramped during a busy time so maybe by removing 1 or 2 sites per row would help with crowding. ||All and all if anyway can find an RV park with free water slides, water trampolines, paddle boats, kayaks, peddle water bikes, zip lining and mini putt please...
