Beautiful Campsite. Right off the highway on Teslin lake. Not too noisy at all. There are no campsites on the lake but there are quite a few with trails leading to the lake with a huge beach to walk on or let your dog swim in. There are also quite a few with views. There are no pull throughs but some that you just pull up along side. We stayed in site #24 and was private with trails to the beach and a view. #19 is private too.

If you like to hear the sounds of a running Creek #6 and on that side back up on a small Creek.

The sites are very private and room for all lengths of trailers.

The bathrooms were clean with lots of toilet paper.

Lots of free wood, which is good as -2 here today but blue sunny skies. You need to split the wood and a great...

Teslin lake is a beautiful campground, which is just outside of the community of Teslin so it's not a long run if you need more supplies. Some of the sites have lake access and there are some small walking trails that go around the lake. Most of the sites are plenty large for RV camping. The sites are cheap at 12$ a night especially with the firewood included. The only problem is that when we came back through on our trip the campsite was closed, we passed back through around September 9th. As we learned it's upto each individual park operator when they close in September and it's disappointing that they closed so early. So just factor that into your plans should you plan a...

It was a fine place to stop because we were driving through but I wouldn’t pick this as a destination to stay. The spots are decently sized and include a picnic table and fire ring. Most of them are not pull out spots though, they’re just wider spots on the road so there’s no privacy or separation from your neighbor. The sites that do have defined spots are on the upper loop where you’re right next to the rest stop and, if you’re unlucky like us, a truck will be running their very noisy engine/generator. For the price it’s alright with the peace of mind I’m not going to get in trouble for sleeping in the rest...

Stayed for free in the rest area next to campground as the campground was fill at 1630. Road noise stopped at around 1900 and resumed at 0600, along with some very talkative crows. It’s a good stop for RVrs on the Alaska Highway. Luckily, no one was running their generator at night or in the early morning.
