We are very surprised with the other comments.. first of all, not only is the food scarce (compared to other places in Cabo Verde where for that money you get a whole fish, here you get 2 small pieces of fish or an extra small piece of pork, a very limited amount of rice and hardly any veg), it is also totally overcooked (the pork was so dry you couldnt even cut it with the knife). On top of it, the person who runs the place did not hesitate to lie to us.. we called to book 2 rooms and it was all fine on the phone, but when we got there she told us it was full (while it was not.. we found out later that the expected package tourists were arriving only the next day very late..) so they put us in rooms with shared bathroom and eventually there was not even water in the bathroom so you cant wash and you need to ask for bottles to flush the toilets.. and they charged us 4000esc for that.. when we complained she discounted the room of 200esc (!!) Which was not even a discount as when we left we didnt get breakfast (just a banana and an orange each). Aside from the lies we have been told, the place is a total rip off (the kind pf place where they take tourists for wallets on legs.. they charged us 200esc for the grogo, while it s everywhere else 100esc). A place...
