Hilton Beijing Tongzhou — Hotel in Beijing

What an impressive hotel. The building is impressive. From the moment the driver met us at the airport to is arriving at the front desk, we were met with the kindest and most welcoming smiles. A welcome relief from our previous hotel. As a good member I was offered an upgrade of my room, but they also extended this to my friend and his room who was travelling with me. We were then offered a further upgrade to suits for a small fee per day, and we took it, as it is a “Suite in Bajing”, a story we can tell later.||||The room was impressive. Lovely and big. But this is where the fun stopped.||||We were tired and decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. It was very bad. Having experienced the wonderful cuisine here in china for the last week, this was a massive let down. We could only take a few bytes and then left it.||||When returning to the room, we were told there is problems with our account, but after a chat with reception in person, there was never a problem. ||||Internet. What internet? There is WiFi, but no internet on it. Frustrating when I a, trying to book the next day’s activity.||||But my biggest let down, the bed. The linen was hard and scratching. The bed was very uncomfortable. If there is one thing in my book, that a hotel should be great at, is a comfortable bed, and comfortable bedding. Both they have failed on here. And for a 4.5* hotel, very disappointing. ||||Great and wonderful staff, that are truly amazing, but they are being let down by faulty rooms and furnishings. ||||It is my hope that after my feedback, they would action...

The hotel is modern with stylish décor, and the rooms are very spacious, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean. The beds are extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep after a long day exploring Beijing.

The hotel offers excellent and diverse facilities, including a clean indoor swimming pool, a fully equipped fitness center, and restaurants serving both local and international dishes of high quality. Breakfast is varied and delicious, with options to suit all tastes. The Executive Lounge adds an extra touch of luxury for guests who value privacy and comfort.

The staff are friendly and very helpful, with a warm welcome and quick responses to any requests. The hotel also provides a free daily shuttle service to Universal Beijing Resort, which is a great advantage, especially for families. Its location is close to major shopping centers such as Aegean Place and Wanda Plaza, and it overlooks beautiful views of the Grand Canal and nearby parks.
