Go to the Dongzhimen Bus Depot, it's across the road from the subway station. Take the number 852 bus all the way until it terminates at Ping Gu Qi Che Zhan, about an hour. We took a taxi from there to the resort, another 30 minutes, but I've been told the number 25 bus goes to it, look for 石林峡 on the bus schedules. I'd also suggest checking the pollution levels because if they're high, the visibility will be poor.

There are fairground rides for kids and food stalls. The scenery is spectacular. You take a cable car up most of the way then have a very punishing 30 minute walk to the top of the platform. If you're not used to walking or are overweight, you're going to struggle. Looking through the glass would have been more exhilarating had it been clean but, nonetheless, the views are spectacular and I'm sure you'll remember the trip for the rest of your life.

As we took a taxi, we didn't know where the bus stop was but, fortunately, when we flagged down the driver, he stopped outside the resort. We went back to Ping Gu Qi Che Zhan then took the 852...

Going there by bus around 2 and half hour. You must buy a ticket to enter the area, then buy more ticket for the cable car (around 50 RMB for one way) the cable car was sure helps you to hike the mountain to reach the glass platform. After riding the cable car you still get to climb the site around 30 mins. Make sure you bring enough water as you'll climb uphill. To access the platform, you still need to pay around 80 RMB. Cable car are small just enough for 2 peoples. Other thab the glass platform you can enjoy another...

It would be better if there was any facility for them who can't climb to the top by foot since currently the cable car only lift people up to nearby the glass deck but still difficult for many to track the rest on by walk. Otherwise this place is amazing. Recommended...

A place still not really discovered by international tourists. A fantastic experience! A visit here is highly recommended. Please be adviced that although cable cars are in service there are quite many stairs to climb. Excellent view - and very scary!
