Crowne Plaza Changsha Development Zone, An Ihg Hotel — Hotel in Changsha

The facility (gym and swimming pool) of the hotel is great but location is not good. It will only suitable for business trip to stay and not accessible to city and surrounding is quite bored.It is also far to airport....not recommended for short stay for airport transfer...will be regret.The breakfast is fabulous...If you pay by your own for travel, I will strongly suggest don't stay this hotel as you will pay for 5 star hotel fee but their service is terribly poor....the front desk attitude and knowledge to introduce their hotel and surroundings are not reach 5 star.....maybe only 2 star...The most unhappiness towards their front desk I asked in Mandarin but they seem reluctant to reply and act like I have no idea what I'm talking about.In addition, the front desk never and ever smile to us not matter check in or check out ..are we own them money or not deserve to stay in this so called 5 star hotel? This is really bad experience n nightmare for us to stay such high cost with no service hotel and keep saying this need to pay and that need to pay.....this is very frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!We will reject to any Crowne Plaza hotel on the worldwide as they giving us the nightmare services.The front desk should learn from the bellboy with politeness, helpful and...

My firs trip to China and what an experience! I went with colleagues and customers so the location for me was perfect and to be honest even though it is in the industrial zone the local transport is such good value going to the heart of the city is easy. The hotel itself is spotless with very helpful staff, great modern, spacious rooms with everything changed daily including toiletries(no iron or ironing board but you can ask for one to be brought up) The breakfast was a good choice of local, continental and cooked breakfasts, with a good range of soft drinks and great coffee machines, which were a bit temperamental but worth the wait! The bar area is large and well stocked and although I didn't eat there in the evening (why would you when all the great local food is available right next door) a customer did and said the selection was very good from the buffet. If you want some home from home comforts downstairs next door is a Starbucks and just around the corner is a KFC. I recommend going to the shopping mall around the corner as is it has a huge range of dining experiences. The people of Changsha were really friendly and welcoming at every stage of our visit and the mixture of ancient culture and ultra modern buildings and LED light displays...
