Four Points by Sheraton Changsha, Meixi Lake — Hotel in Changsha

Very bad experience. Room was not clean - two hair on the toilet. Bad F&B experience. First for IRD, order a glass of white wine. 20 mins later told me there's no wine in stock. Changed to red and then 20 mins later told me there's only house wine, the Chilean Red I ordered was out of stock too. So it took me an hour to get a glass of wine, and a glass of white came eventually. Not sure what went wrong.....and the restaurant staff did not handle the complaint properly. Though the Western restaurant manager did apologise again in the morning next day. BUT I went to Chinese restaurant for a quick lunch (it turned out it was a bad decision!!). I told the staff I need to leave 1pm sharp and ordered food at 12:10. 12:30 I got the soup and 12:40 told me one of the dishes I order is out of stock as well. And then after my complaint, all my dishes arrived after 12:50, which meant I had to shoveled all my food in 10 mins. Ridiculous. AND the asst. restaurant manager even ran to served other guests in the middle of my complaint! Even though the DOR and DOFB called and explained the situation, I found somehow it's a property lack of training, management, staff has not empathy for what guests need (or simply don't care) and lack of the ability to take any action....to deliver standard service. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND ANGRY still when I look back on this experience!!!! Sorry to say, but a thousand time of apologies cannot make up the precious...

We're a travelling family and this property looked after us brilliantly!

Its a new property and some places like gym and cigar lounge not open at time of writing.

The underground parking facilities are good with elevator up to hotel. Adjacent to huge, huge shopping centre, very handy especially If you have family, plenty of places to keep the kids entertained.

The dinning facilities were great, buffet excellent and above all loved the kids play area set up in a corner of the dinning area with dinning and tables and chairs for us to eat and enjoy watching our young man playing. So awesome for parents, every hotel should offer this, its brilliant.

Our kicks his socks off regularly, twice in the hotel common areas on way back to room and the staff find it knew who's it was and returned it to us, small things, but they went along way.

This hotel has no recognition or basic respect for Platinum members. I had to keep asking for a breakfast so they would finally offer one. What's worse, it seemed that drinks are not included in the complimentary breakfast. When I tried to get some drinks I was instantly stopped and got laughed at by the staff, while others drinks just fine. Anyway if anyone somehow want to get awkward and humiliated, this hotel is...
