The St. Regis Changsha — Hotel in Changsha

We booked two rooms here when visiting family during Mid-Autumn Festival. The St. Regis is located on the higher floors of the building so it is comparable to the Niccolo. I like this location better even though it is not right on the busy center of Changsha. The hotel is right off the airport highway so it’s much quicker to get to the airport than the Niccolo. As for the service, the St. Regis brand and its butler service give the hotel service a leg up. I personally think international travelers may find St. Regis more comfortable. During our stay, we have met the hotel general manager at breakfast for a few times, who was working alongside the staff and checking in on the guests. The hotel decorated my parents’ room for my father’s birthday and made him a birthday cake on the day. My dad also enjoyed the bubble baths the butler made for him during the stay. I loved the steamy eye mask as it helped my sleep. When I checked out, the butler gave me a few more for the trip and home. Hotel facilities are fairly new and well maintained. There is no kids pool at the swimming pools, but the kids can hangout at the jacuzzi. It was not crowded the few times we went.
