Marco Polo Changzhou — Hotel in Changzhou

My first visit to the hotel and city and I’ll be back for sure.||||I arrived at Wuxi airport and it was a pleasant 50minutes car ride to the hotel. More importantly, they provided free WiFi so that I could catch up on my emails during the flight time from Hong Kong.||||The first impression upon arrival was simply mind blowing. For the price you pay and the opulence you get...... The room was most comfortable - good size and well appointed. Check-in at the Club Lounge was hassle free and staff were quite conversant with the English language.||||Buffet breakfast at the Cafe was scrumptious with generous variety to choose from. Lunch at the Chinese restaurant was pleasant - no fuss even for a plate of their signature fried rice.||||Overall service was good. Hotel is barely 4-years old and good value. Just checked out yesterday. Shocked with indifferent of service level. I stayed on January and was very happy with services. Very attentive and makes me returned. Singaporean manager whom I met brought me up to have breakfast on level 12. He even accompanied me.he done all that due to long queue outside lobby cafe and I am old. ||However, very different this time. No recognition and staff simply ignore my request. I told reception lady on my feedback but was ignored. ||I will not come back. Not worth every cents... Don't consider this...

Went to Changzhou on business trip and chose Marco Polo for my discovery membership. At the arrival I remained impressed by the kindness of the staff, overall the hotel is nice and clean, the gym and pool is above average, only the sauna wasn’t functioning.
