Great Option for Transit Stay

Though this property is labeled as a Holiday Inn express, it is a much posher, cleaner and stylish branch of the chain than you would find in other parts of the world, esp. in the western hemisphere. IF you are looking for a Transit stay before an early morning flight, look no further as this place is an Absolute VALUE FOR MONEY and even have a FREE AIRPORT SHUTTLE saving you a lot of money. Esp. the Free Breakfast is unbelievable almost at the price we paid.

LOCATION: around 10 minute drive from the airport and not too far from main city

DINE + DRINK: Restaurant in house that served a decent spread of Breakfast (of local and western dishes) and a mean Coffee.

This is also known as Holiday Inn Express Chengdu Airport Zone. It is close to Chengdu Airport. For business travellers, it is a good choice hotel especially those having a business within the nearby Economic Zone. An airport shuttle is available for pick-up and drop-off. Reservation is inclusive of breakfast. Breakfast is from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM. Food choices are egg sunny-side-up, bacon, chicken sausage, stir-fried vegetables, porridge, vegetable porridge, yoghurt, cereal, salads, breads, etc. Soy milk is also available for lactose intolerants. The staffs are friendly and available all the time. For travellers with kids, there is a kid's play area at the third floor which is where the restaurant also. The room is just enough for a business travellers. Basic hygiene kits are provided (bath soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, etc.). Double and Queen Size Beds are also available. There is a water heater in the room for coffee or tea which is complimentary. No mini bar is available nor a refrigerator. The channels available are all in Chinese. There is also a laundry area where you can wash and iron your clothes. The wi-fi is strong which is the most important for me in business trips.
