My stay at the Ruijin Hotel was quite an unpleasant experience, and I’m eternally grateful that we only stayed here for one night. The hotel is quite difficult to find even though it’s advertised in booking.com as being located near the airport. It is a huge edification, but strangely enough it’s practically empty. None of the staff speak English; I was able to help my family out with my scarce Mandarin, but if you are not familiar or even acquainted with the language, do not stay here. The rooms are decent. Read moreHotel staff knew very little English and didnt know how to process my booking which I had made through a well known hotel booking site. After an hour long process explaining that I had already paid for my room, the staff wanted me to pay a different rate which was three times the amount I had already paid. I refused and asked if they could order me a taxi back to the airport, a simple task I thought . It seemed not as they did not know any taxi companies. This resulted in my partner and I leaving them at 1am and flagging a taxi back to the airport to sleep for the night. ||Stay away from this sorry excuse...
