Hotel was booked by our working partner in Chongqing and we arrived around 1245am, there was a very nice young man who came to pick us up at the airport very patiently and we feel really sorry for him as there was a flight delay and he was waiting since 11pm||||Upon arrival hotel looks like any other Chinese style 4 to 5 stars hotel, despite only the 3 of us the lady took quite a while to register us like nearly 20 to 25mins, I think she is really tired too consider its mid night. The room upon checking in was marvellous, it was only a normal deluxe room but it was like a presidential suite.||||Its about 50sqm I think with a dining table for 4 to 6, a huge king bed, sofa at a considerably wide living area. then there was a little closet where it was spacious and the robes are there and you can hung your clothes.||||Toilet was so big, the shower area and bathtub is enclose in one area but the shower area can easily fit in like 10 people inside, it was so big and there was even a TV in it.||||Then come the big issue, I thought registering with the front desk was suffice but came the Police knocking on our doors to register us. Had only 4 hours of sleep, did breakfast it was very good mix of western and asia style, very sweet rockmelon served, good variety and not crowded even at 830am.||||I would recommend to stay here if you catch an early flight or flew in late with plans to...
Read moreWe stayed here over night for an early flight the next morning because it is very close to the airport and has pickup service from the airport itself (if you take the train out to the airport first). It is also a 5 minute taxi ride back to the airport if you're in a rush.||||Rooms are large, clean and well appointed. More importantly, the rooms are very quiet so we were able to sleep without hearing jets or people in the hallway, as is the case with many airport hotels. One odd quirk is that the room AC controls appear to allow you to (try to) change the temperature but they don’t actually do anything as the temperature is centrally controlled. ||||The hotel is right next to a large luxury mall with many restaurants, so there is no lack of food choices or shop until you drop options for purchasing anything you need. (It seemed like an odd location for a luxury shopping mall, but I guess in a city of 36 million you may not want to travel an hour to get downtown for shopping.) ||||We didn't eat the hotel breakfast because of our early flight so we can't comment on that. The hotel is a bit more expensive that the local average hotel prices, but the quality is worth it! We enjoyed our stay and...
Read moreStayed just for one night on business stop over, my third visit to this hotel in as many years and the best experience yet.|Arrival: took the free shuttle service from the airport which is close by and had a smooth check in - although they do take your passport for sometime to harvest details! I was told I received a complimentary upgrade of my room which was a nice surprise! The staff were very friendly and smiles all round.|Room: it was huge with a massive comfy bed with a choice of pillows, a sofa to lounge on, a large desk to work from and a table and chairs to dine or invite guests should I wish! The bathroom was equally spacious and luxurious. The room finish was to a high quality and classic taste. I was impressed and sad that I'd checked in late evening and had to leave in the morning - not much time to enjoy the room. The complimentary water is always a nice touch too.|Breakfast: perhaps the only small let down which doesn't keep up with the rest of the hotel or other experiences in China. Not that it was bad, completely fine and lots of choice but I didn't find the quality of the food as good as other places.|Overall: A good all too short stay and thank you for the...
