Holiday Inn Dalian Hot Spring — Hotel in Dalian City

We have now tried to stay at your property twice. I will also be posting a severe review via the booking site. On the first evening, feral cats were found in our villa eating food and urinating. They then entered the outdoor hot tub area and spent the night scratching at the windows and trying to get back into the villa which kept us awake all night. We brought this to staff's attention via phone. They never did anything. We also found food waste in the villa left from a previous inhabitant.

Our second stay was cancelled by staff at checkin time on October 14. No reason was given. We had a special event planned for our anniversary and decided to give your hotel a second chance. Staff refused to tell us why. Staff never answered repeated requests. We had to re-book our stay at a competing hotel at over double the price since it was a same day booking now. We made the holiday inn booking 14 hours in advance and they waited 14 hours to cancel..right at checkin time. We stayed at this hotel for the weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday. We really enjoyed hot springs pools, breakfast buffet and other anemities. The villa we stayed in was immaculate, with two big screen TVs, a TV in the bathroom mirror, large bathtub and hot springs pool outside.

We really enjoyed the hospitality at this hotel. The manager, Derek, and staff were very welcoming. They made sure our room was kept clean and comfortable. Derek was a very attentive host and made sure that we had everything we needed. He even had staff help put up our birthday decorations, and he had a delicious cake brought in to help celebrate the ocassion. Thanks, Derek!

This is a hidden gem to stay for families or for couples! We wanted our kids to enjoy being in the water even in the middle of winter and this was the perfect place. We stayed in a villa where they will fill your personal hot spring whenever needed. The public hot spring area also has huge indoor heated pools and a wonderful kids area. My children had a blast! Cleanliness and service was impecable all around. Shout out to Derek and Brain who spoke English and were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. As expected, the area around the hotel is quite dead in the winter like the amusement park and beach. Most attractions and things to do in Dalian are about 45 minutes away, so we will probably come back March-...
