I stay here often as part of my work programme, and have experienced the hotel during all four seasons. Temperature control can be tricky, particularly in the Summer. The rooms at the front can the full heat of the sun, and the air con is unable to reduce the room temperature to a comfortable level. Likewise in the Winter it can be tricky to get the room warmed up enough. As I write this, in April, it is fine. |Location is perfect for the airport, you could walk to the terminal easily. |The rooms are not too bad, slightly softer beds than usual in China. Some are a little musty from smoking. |The restaurant produces pretty good food, and the menu has some limited English text to help you choose. The closest I have found to a Western meal is the Beef with French Fries. This consists of around eight squares of pretty good beef served with French fries and spicy sauce. They stop cooking at 2200. |There is a 24 hour KFC about 500m along the road if you arrive too late to get fed here. I had to be rather explicit on what was up for grabs.:)||||It's a fine enough hotel if you are looking to stay out of town...but it seemed from a local friend, you could stay in town at a comparable hotel for they same price. ||||Their web site is www.dliah.com....
Read moreI stayed here because my flight arrived very late at night. I am glad that I only stayed one night. The only good thing about this hotel is its close proximity to the airport. The place is rundown and dirty. Housekeeping clearly haven't cleaned properly as there were stains in the toilet and bathtub. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls and the tiles in the bathroom were cracked. ||||Another bug bear was there was no fresh water. If you wanted a drink after your long flight, a kettle had to be boiled. They didn't even have a mini-bar. At 1am I cannot go down the road to get a drink! ||||Also, the noise from the road was unrelenting all night with the sound of the car horns. I was glad to be out of there the...
