Castle Hotel Ocean Flower Island — Hotel in Danzhou City

1st impression, grand and gigantic. 4 castles concept, brilliant idea and truly following the theme - i booked the Glacier Castle. Breakfast place was huge and organised and food spread is commendable. Food tasted excellent; certainly will meet international travellers' choice and taste buds.The challenge is language - literally none of the staff speaks English. As you enter the hotel, look out for the trolley train which you can (for a fee) hop on and off throughout the day (unlimited) - remember to watch the beautiful sunset at the right location.Another highlight is the complimentary light show - spectacular! The resort has an entire building (separate from the hotel) with indoor swimming pools and sports. You can however find the gym at the main hotel building.Disappointment for the kids - as the water parks were not operating at the time i was there. There are the twin beaches and great strolls you can take to a food village and there are brand outlets that you can shop till you drop.I must comment that i love the assistance extended to me by McDonald's staff at the Island, they were great - grab your burgers and head to the beach for a picnic!(i will try to upload photos later as this function is not working...

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, where we spent two days. The breakfast and location were great, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service.We were fortunate to be assisted by Yan Yan, who went above and beyond for us. Our daughter developed a wound that became red and swollen. When we mentioned this to Yan Yan, she immediately offered help — consulting with her doctor, ordering the necessary medicine online, and arranging for it to be delivered to the hotel. Without her, we would have struggled, as we don’t read Chinese and didn’t know how to navigate the local apps.On the day we checked out, we traveled to Haikou, a city two hours away. Unfortunately, my husband left his MacBook behind at the hotel. Once again, Yan Yan came to the rescue, arranging for a Didi driver she trusted to deliver the laptop to our new hotel within three hours. This was a huge relief, as we had an early morning flight the next day and retrieving the laptop on our own would have been extremely difficult.Thanks to Yan Yan’s incredible support, we avoided a lot of stress and trouble. I have a wonderful time with my mom at castle hotel 欧宝酒店 and for the first time I am purchasing clothing from a hotel and the quality is great and price is reasonable. I bought a lot of t shirts and beach pants for my 2 kids. I also bought a lovely dress for myself and scarf for my mom. The breakfast have variety of choices and is very delicious. The noodles is a must try items. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The island is easy access and is very suitable for family with young kids. There are a lots of activities available for them that can keep them occupied, within the hotel and island too. The ocean park is a must go place to see dolphin’s show, apart from that, there are many other marine species in the park and activities that may excite the kids. Please spare a day here to finished off all the shows. The light show at 婚礼庄园is also a must go place. There are 2shows available daily at 8pm and 9:30pm .
