Be prepared - while a global brand name (Accor) this hotel is Chinese style - Only central air con so you are generally sweating all night - solution - a portable air con ! ||||Staff does not speak English so screwups are common due to communication challenges. Housekeeping is superficial at best - they just throw the sheets on and don't really clean mirror or much else - leave old glasses are left in the room.||||Restaurant is buffet style (of course) but regretfully with little business the food is usually well dried out - not a staff issue - this is a turnover issue.||||The staff is not trained in customer satisfaction - they make excuses over every mistake - no critical thinking skills at all.|||| My local Chinese friends told me they also feel the property is not world class.||||Given the great reviews maybe I hit it on a bad week and will try again - this time I'll ask for the portable air con right away !! ||||One note - Vivian is superb ! Traffic condition leading to the hotel is always heavy. Check in procedure is quiet efficient. The room is modern, spacious and relatively clean... except that I found one lump of hair at the shower drain.||This really put me off as I am very particular with hygiene and cleanliness. The spread at the international breakfast buffet is average and I considered the price on the high side for CNY150/person. Wifi connection is relatively weak. But 3rd night still "No". Feedback to front desk staff, they said will look into this case, but till check out, no people get back to me what happen.||For bath room area, I'm stay for 4 nights, 1st night I tot that I'd turned on the water pressure too high that water leak out from the bath area and wet the bath room and no drainage for water to flow, then I need to use toilet paper to wipe it.||2nd night, I tried to turn the water pressure lower , water still leak out, no choice wipe the floor again.||3rd & 4th night still the same, release that the door unable to close it tide that caused the water leakage out.
