The Sungshan Lake of Vienna Hotel — Hotel in Dongguan

Arrived here with no choice given the other hotel had overbooked and it was almost midnight. The lobby was smoky, and there were guests AT the front desk smoking, I asked the staff if this is allowed, they promptly said YEP. Lovely. There were locals wandering about the lobby either with no shirt on or with their shirt rolled up, all in all an awful advertisement for any hotel.||Lad at the front desk took a while sorting the room, then after giving us our room card, he seemed to be keying in more info into the computer, then looks up and asks if there is anything else he can help me with- he hadn't given my passport back! I'm standing there and he thinks I'm the one who's confused. Urgh.||||Room was passable, there are NO non-smoking rooms, all of them have ash trays and a little sign next to the bed that appeared to a 'no smoking' sign, on closer inspection it simply said to not smoke in the bed lol.||||Won't be staying here...
