Changlu Resort — Hotel in Foshan

Foshan Travels: when it comes to Foshan or Guangzhou, most people only know Chimelong paradise. However, there is an oasis known as Changlu Holiday Resort 长鹿度假村. Its lesser known and more catered to locals. Advised to come on weekends, once you check in, literally no need to go out liaoz!!We came during the weekdays and low season, hence it was easier to get an upgrade and no queues for rides. On weekends, however, they have a night parade and activity. Lots of shows, street shopping, food and performances.Back to the resort. I booked via trip.com. Rooms starts from only $99 per room! Not per person. PER ROOM And includes ALOT!1. Choice of room. We had initially booked the cave room at $200 per night with tickets for 2 kids. However, due to a natural inclement, we managed to get the underwater room upgrade! Both were great. The underwater room usually cost around $700! And a bigger one at approx $1000!! Breakfast is included too. I would say not as good as the earlier hotels. But ok la…2. Tickets to the zoo. You get multiple tickets if you book more than 1 night. Actually 1 day ticket is sufficient as the zoo isn’t very big and could be covered in 1 day. Zoo shows are not included. Regret watching but not expensive.3. Discount tickets to the circus. Top up about $8 per person. Discount tickets to snow world. As we had experienced similar at the previous hotel, we skipped this. Snow world is another $6 per person.4. Thrilling amusement rides. Not included but they are not expensive too. Pay by coin credits and they offered buy 1 get 1 value. Works out each ride to be less than $2-$3 a ride only.5. Affordable and good food offerings. Usually theme parks tend to be expensive. But it’s affordable here. We went to town and realized even cheaper.6. Unlimited hot spring pools to soak.7. Beautiful swimming pool (the blue oasis in the pictures is the pool)8. Steam and sauna access.And many more!! They have a total of 11 interactive zones here. When people feedback 2day1 night is not enough I kind of thought I might have time to go to town.. well… 3 days 2 night in the resort and we still find it insufficient too. 😅😅😅With the beautiful underwater room, we spent time going in and out of the room for rest and pool soak multiple times too..If you ask me which room type is the best, get the cave rooms as they are in the heart of the resort. It was amazing experience for my husband and me. We went to celebrate his birthday and to relax and enjoy the hot spri.g spa. The hotel room was with lake view. Very clean, all the facilities in the room were amazing: the bed was huge and comfi, the tea delicious.This is my second visit to the hotel and it was great. The spa was nice, with variety of baths with different temperature. There was a steam spa and sauna. All worked well. The staff was very nice and helful. The breakfast was with variety mainly Chinese choices of dishes, but very good. We were given tickets for the park and disconted tickets for tbe circus performance, which was absolutely amazing. We had a delicious lunch for two in the underwater restourante with excelent selection and service. Dream to go again in...

The trip was beyond expectations. The check-in staff Ms. Yang was polite and helpful. The rooms were relaxing. The lake view room features large windows and a cute porch ( with swing chairs). The farm view rooms were larger than it looked in the pictures. As the rooms were packaged with the theme park tickets, we entered the park and the zoo for free. Although the rides needed to be purchased separately, the cost was affordable. The zoo kept a decent amount of animals. (Feedings were sold separately ) We loved the boat ride near the lobby, the highlight of our trip. A tip to share ( a lake view room and a farm view room will make an inclusive unit).
