I stayed in this hotel on November 17, 2024 and it was a terrible experience when staying in a hotel, The hotel doesn't seem to have a concierge department at all. No one asks for luggage. The whole time it's apathy. I don't understand how a business hotel can't even manage this kind of thing. The hotel's FOM (Bruce) doesn 't know how to manage the department. In the room, the hygiene was very poor. The carpets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. There was dust in the corners, the glass glasses weren't clean, and the bathroom floor was dirty, but I didn't think about that. I checked in again on November 19, and the front desk employee said to bring the fruit to the room in a few minutes. I took her word for it. As a result, I waited 3 hours without fruit being delivered to the room. I was angry and went to the reception desk to say a word and sent some oranges in a hurry. It was the worst welcome fruit tray I've ever seen. It was disgusting. I am a member of IHG Diamond Card at 13: 00 noon on November 20, 2024. According to the group standard, I can check out at 14: 00. As a result, at 13: 16 the hotel employee started knocking on my door to ask me to check out. I had a Do Not Disturb light on my room. I wanted to ask the hotel's FOM (Bruce). Does your employee understand what do not disturb means? Does he understand that I'll come back and teach you. My wife was pregnant and needed a break after lunch. As a result, Judy at the guest service kept calling to ask for check-out time and knocking on the door even though the Do Not Disturb light was on. I couldn't stand it. Also I need a development ticket when checking out. I have stayed in this hotel more than 20 times, Each time it was a normal VAT invoice. This time it turned out to be a normal invoice for me. I really don't know how the hotel's FOM (Bruce) manages his staff. Doesn't he look at the guests' previous notes? Also, during my previous stay at this hotel, the room did not change the sheets and covers for 4 days. I called the front desk and said it was the group standard. I wanted to ask if the IHG group standard was to change the sheets and covers once a few days. I had never had this situation at CROWNE PLAZA in another city. I would like to ask how the hotel's FOM (Bruce) trains the staff.

I live in Shenzhen in China, Me and my wife we hardly have any chances to get on a break during the weekends ,those two days were one of our exciting moment that we can finally get to somewhere and spent our weekends ,It was a last minutes booking in the afternoon, we barely knew the city, where to get local delicacy, where to find a places that we could sit down for a while….. things like this resolved the moment I received the call from Mrs Lily the next day.
It felt like Mrs Wendy knows what we need for the trip, all the information filled in the blanks since the call.
I understand for hotels like Plaza ,things like this could happen 100 times a day ,and most of the guests they don’t see it special. But for us ,after all 3 years of lock down and the and the pandemic, it feels good that there is someone actually taking care of my trip and take my trip seriously.
