The hotel reception is friendly,Welcoming and bilingual which was great as I can’t speak Chinese. Check in was smooth but there was no luggage help and after a long day at Foshan 50km hike there was no energy left to drag my “own luggage “ I know , I know but a little help would have been a relief for tired legs🤓. The room was clean, linen fresh , bathroom and tea/coffee essentials were freshly supplied. The 21st floor didn’t have any views of the city just apartment blocks which was a lil sad but the room made up for it. Tv has nice variety of channels except a TV remote wasn’t available in the room just the decoder remote and had something to watch on the main tv. Night duty manager was kind enough to figure out exactly what was needed. Hotel room delivery was a bit tricky and a little exasperating because twice the orders arrived cold and took a while to either locate them downstairs or send them up using the “ robot” . Customer service agent on call both times was helpful and nice but I think the outside food delivery can be more user friendly and efficient. On check out we were assisted by day duty manager Mr Blake Liu , it was a smooth transition and he managed to explain about the food delivery process when * drivers deliver the order and when the hotel staff takes over and about more improvements they are working towards to ensure smooth and fast customer service. In conclusion, the stay was smooth and will definitely book...
Read moreOverall I will have to give my stay here 3 stars. I am in Foshan for business and will be at this hotel for 26 nights. I am about one halfway through my stay. The hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating. The service is outstanding. The things that bring down the rating are the price of additional amenities and the wear and tear in the guest rooms. Each time I use the hotel laundry service it is between $50 and $60 USD just to wash some socks, shirts, pants, and underwear. The main restaurant that serves breakfast is supposed to be open for all day dining. So far, it has only been open daily for breakfast and weekends for dinner. When the restaurant is open for dinner, the buffet provides many options, but it is also overpriced. The guest rooms are dated and could use some maintenance but they are very nice. The price of the hotel is very good for being a five star, but the rest of the amenities are very overpriced for what you get. The spa has a very nice, relaxing atmosphere and good quality service but I can get a massage in the states for half the price. Lastly, the Wi-Fi…or lack thereof would be more appropriate. I was not once able to connect to the Wi-Fi in my room so I had to use my data for my entire stay here. You can connect to the Wi-Fi in the lobby, but the speeds are so slow, you cannot even open an email. I tend to stay with many Hilton branded hotels, but my next stay in Foshan will not be...

❌Review for Yuxi Chinese Restaurant in Hilton Foshan:
Unfortunately we did not have a good experience here. Many of the items on the menu are overpriced for the amount and quality of the food that you receive. We ordered the ¥88 beef which only came with 8 tiny square cuts of beef. We queried this with the staff, but they could not come up with any excuses or compromises and let us know that they would try to improve for next time. The clams that we ordered were very well priced, but there was a dead closed one included - surely it’s easy to just take the dead ones out before serving to customers?
We cannot recommend visiting this restaurant as the price does not accurately represent the quality and the...
