Midea Shunde Tribute Portfolio Hotel — Hotel in Foshan

I like to take this chance to give a shout out to the service of Gabriel Hu. He is very friendly and helpful. Even making us drinks at the bar when the bar staff wasn’t available. In general the service of the staff are good. Two things we got very disappointed was about the room. We smelled cigarette in the toilet from the room next to us. The ventilation isn’t good or they shouldn’t misbehaveThe gym is a children’s playground. We went there twice and saw at least 2 families with very small children (under 6 years old) were running in the gym. Banging weights, bouncing medicine balls, playing on the treadmillThe gym rule simply allow this to happen as it says children under 16 need adult supervision. Just that it is a common sense no babies should be hereCan also reflect the problem is that the hotel is lack of children’s room or other leisure facilities Honestly I stay here for the gym and I am so hesitate to come...

So far, one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in while traveling to Foshan. The hotel is very clean, the staff are attentive, and the dinner options are excellent with a great wine selection.

I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because of one small detail that I believe can be improved for an even better guest experience. While the breakfast is good and the selection is thoughtful, I always miss fresh bread. The baguette served tends to be dry, and having fresh bakery options — especially for Western guests — would make a big difference.

If this is addressed, it’s definitely a 5-star-plus experience. Highly...

Big shout out to Gabriel he is the most helpful and professional hotel staff in China The place is quite well managed The gym is quite nice Food in breakfast is superb Only problem I had with them was the lack of facilities and the gym They should have added a pool but they don’t so not sure why it is still called 5 stars People bringing kids to play inside the gym and the hotel is fine with it The kids are very annoying and obviously messing up things and it is dangerous as well If the hotel has more facilities like kids room or play area I am sure this problem...
