Regal Financial Center Hotel — Hotel in Foshan

I stay there for canton fair and location is great - metro is just steps away . The hotel it self is near to wanda plaza shopping mall where is also a lot of different eateries what is very very nice and convenient . I book club floor room - and room itself was wonderful and big . Very maintained and clean . Big bath room with tub and shower separately , big comfy bed ...|Staff at reception front desk was nice and want to help but how - they can’t understand and speak english and communication was very limited . Only one male person speak english - and if you have luck - he’s at front desk . |THE BIG DISAPPOINTMENT IS THEIR CLUB FLOOR LOUNGE !!! At my time the club lounge was not operating - only breakfast was served - so i pay for better service and additional club floor benefits - that i cant never get ! They promote happy hour with canapés , drinks etz , but how to get it if lounge is closed . I complained at front desk and they gave me one beer and some sweets and one evening i got one bottle of red wine inside my room - thats all what i got from the higher price i paid . Swimming pool is not operating , concierge in lobby dont speak any word of english . Breakfast in restaurant is ok - more for Chinese as for westerners , club lounge breakfast was same and definitely not 5* hotel breakfast . They should improve english at their staff and start operating club...

Stayed at the Regal for 2 nights in Foshan for a training exercise with one of our outsourcing partners in China.||||The place is nicely located just beside the Financial Hi-Tech zone subway station in Foshan and connects easily to Guangzhou from there.||||Room-wise, the hotel was nicely provisioned with big space, amenities, and a clean and working bathroom. Further, the breakfast spread was decent and only costs 70 RMB if you did not include it in your reservation - which is good value for money given the quality and amount of dishes.||||The hotel is also located near a big mall and food street so you can get a taste of the local fare after a hard day's work.||||A room for improvement would be the hotel facilities. The gym area is stuffy with minimal air conditioning and the pool/sauna area was hard to find by yourself.||||There are a lot of choices in the area due to the Hi-tech zone being there but this place is nicely located and I would...
