Shunde Jiaxin Kangnian Garden Hotel — Hotel in Foshan

I have had a number of visits to this property since my last review and on each visit I have been very impressed with the level of service provided by all employees at the hotel. The check in remains to be first class, restaurant specially breakfast is excellent and the rooms are always spotlessly clean. I noted a previous review about smoking, I am a non smoker and I have never found smoking a problem in this hotel.||||What I would like to comment on now is a function I recently held at this hotel. It was a Wedding with 120 guests. I did compare cost, menu and facilities with a number of Shunde hotels including the Sheraton and on all aspects this hotel was the best value for money and quality.||||From the day I started talking to the function staff about my function they were truly brilliant in understanding my requirements and always willing to listen to my suggestions.||||I arrived back 5 days before the function and I had no concerns regarding the appearance of the function room, menu and staff arrangements.||||On the night of the wedding the whole event was brilliant, I could not have asked for more. I very recently stayed in this hotel and had a pleasant all round experience. The room is nicely laid out with wired and wifi internet access which was very fast and stable too. ||I was situated right at the entrance to the gym area but it was only noisy very late on my first night and I suspect that it was guests returning from some function as they were quite rowdy. ||The hotel is certainly not new but it is still good enough for a few nights business stay. Bed was nice and comfortable shower warm and had nice pressure. ||Breakfast was great, better than a lot of other Chinese hotels even in a higher price range. Good selection of Western and Asian food available. ||||The reception staff were pleasant and there is a business centre where one can purchase ferry tickets from. ||||The surroundings are nice for those who like to walk around and explore a bit. There are many restaurants and shops in this area as well as a cinema located in a big modern shopping mall. I spent two weeks here on a business trip and found the hotel quiet, reasonably well appointed and very close to a large selection of local restaurants. The bedroom was a good size with all basic amenities including free Wi-Fi. The included breakfast had both Chinese and Western fare and was of a good standard with many different selections to choose from. The bed was very comfortable. The TV service had 64 channels but only 2 catered to Western visitors, CNN & HBO. All other channels were almost exclusively local Chinese content and language.
