The Westin Fuzhou Minjiang — Hotel in Fuzhou City

It is already the 4th or 5th stay of us in this hotel. I am one of their highest level loyalty program members (Ambassador Level for Bonvoy). Everytime we stay for 3 to 4 nights and two to three times a year. The Westin should have a group wide standard, but this hotel is certainly far below the standard. Do not understand how the management can survive this. People at check-in do not let you feel welcome. Checking in is more as if you are bothering them. The housekeeping is friendly and responsive to your needs, but I also doubt the cleanliness of the rooms. In Wintertime, the rooms are extremely warm, not to say hot and to sleep in a room at 26 degrees is very difficult. Windows do only open a little and do not really cool down the rooms. ||||But the worst is the quality of the food. The baguette they have is at least one day old, so you get the bread from yesterday, mostlikely leftovers served on the next day. People in the restaurant are outright unfriendly and if you want something, they give you unfriendly responses or try to say they do not have it. i wanted some jam for my one day and hard, unfresh bread and they pointed me to the syrups you put on pancakes and waffles as their jam. They do not have jam (seriously? a five star hotel belonging to an international group does not offer jam for breakfast?) Anyway, generally, the training of the personell is for sure not sufficient and I doubt it takes place at all. No need to mention the level of english. The food and beverage manager and the Chefs should actually be asked to look for new jobs. Having paying clients and providing this sort of food is...

i have stayed at least 5 times in the past 12 months Not one stay without problems I have been deeply burned during a hot stone spa. Nobody did care about my complain I have ordered twice a room service after 9.00pm (the restaurant closes at 8.50pm !!). After 45mn waiting and calling, I had to cancel it...... I ordered a wine by the glass at the restaurant. "Out of stock" was the answer. So I went by myself to the lounge to pick up the same wine next stay the orange juice was "out of stock" at the lounge. So, I went by myself to the restaurant where it was not of out of stock during 2 ways it was impossible to download any email, from outlook or orange.fr. I have been told that the local governement is blocking these sites. So we went to the shopping mall,close to the hotel, in the nearest Mac Donalds where we could download all our emails. I like to be treated as an idiot..... the rooms are now a little bit old and should be renovated no upgrade despite my gold card the cesar salad we ordered came without chicken. But it was writtten on the menu we booked the hotel,shuttle,to dropp us to the airport. It arrives with 20mn delay. We could not open the doors to put our luggage. We missed the train. I could write so many things about this hotel. Worse and worse and worse This is not a 5star hotel But they have 5star prices !!!! I will...

It's our first return back to Fuzhou since 2019 and the Westin Minjiang Fuzhou continues to be on the very top of our short list!!! We had a great experience back then and this time our stay was just as outstanding!!||Our family would like to sincerely thank to Mr. Allen Zhu (excellent communication from the start) and his wonderful staff for the fantastic accommodation, the suite was absolutely gorgeous!!! We had a beautiful view of the Minjiang river (even during the midst of a typhoon), and the extra space was perfect for my mom to catch up with her friends and relatives!!!||This prestigious property is located right next to the Wanda Plaza and also steps away from the subway (line 4). Breakfast was excellent, filled with Asian, Western selections and some must try local delicacies!!! All of the staff were extremely polite and accommodating and this exclusive property has won multiple awards for being one of the top luxury hotels in Fuzhou!!!||This Westin will continue to be one of our favorite goto's and I can't recommend it enough if you're looking for accommodation in Fuzhou. The combination of the convenient location, extensive offerings, and most importantly, the superb staff are some of the reasons for the Westin Minjiang Fuzhou to stand out...
